thanks so much for this, great feature! It would be great to see two other features of Dead Air here if you ever feel up to the task. One is npc's ability to loot stashes (though them being much more difficult to spot for them, dead air has overdone the likelihood), and secondary one being the quickrelease and ability to pick up your backpack again after you fleed. There is a quickrelease in Anomaly but it's nothing like that and pretty useless from testing it.

thanks again.

I'll consider it (npc loot stash) when i'll come back on Anomaly but it's not soon and probably too complicated for me. For the quickrelease, i always bind it to f4 and it's enough for me, i think. I even saw a mod that let you keep medic items when using it iirc

Ok i'll try to find the ones in Dead Air and include them.

Didn't get the chance to test enough with the latest, but with the older broken version I got the sound when taking stuff from my own created stash. Is it possible to detect if the stash is player-made?

Normally it should already work (with last version) but i must i admit i did'nt test with player created stash. Let me know if there are still issues. Sorry for earlier versions, it was a mess :/

player created stashes could be trapped too in DA. i'm not a 100% sure whether that is intended behaviour though. if this is *just* a straight port then the "faulty" behaviour of player made stashed should remain.

Dhatri tx for info, yes it's a straight port, i only added some values related to distance and damage dealt/localization. so this bug will most likely still happen i guess

ye can be annoying but even in DA i have only experienced my own stash being trapped maybe a handful of times so i'd consider it "minor".

since it's a straight port i guess the explosions are still not heard by NPCs? and neither would they take damage from the trapped stashes?

Dhatri There is a function in DA axr_npc_steal_box script where you can trap your own stash to lure npcs so it's probably possible to adapt it.

So this would go very badly with iron man I am guessing? xD

edit: hum. commenting the wrong mod...
so regarding the traps, just be ready to run when taking items from a box. there is really enough time to escape totally. the only trouble i can see is possibly for the stashes where you need to crouch and crawl somewhere that will therefor limit your movements
