As far as I know there's no animation addon that overrides the same file as this one, so it should be compatible.
But just in case, it won't be compatible with anything that uses "dev_hand_detector_1_hud_animation.omf"
Please fix the jamming of the lantern animation that appeared in version 1.5.1, I'm talking about the moment when the player moves his hand with the lantern to the right before turning it on, then turns it on and pulls his hand back to the left. This should not have happened and did not happen until version 1.5.1. The community will be grateful to you for this!)

Late reply but it's better than nothing, animation is still in the game files, been trying to put it to use instead of the current one but I'm failing if I do it either by configs or .omf, it's a fairly easy task but I don't know why it's not working for me. Will keep trying and if I keep failing I'll ultimately ask for help, but I haven't forgotten about your comment.

How do you even use the hand torch? I tried to use it but like it never works. I have the bindings for the headlamp and night vison but why does the torch never work :(?
Put it in the detector slot and use by pressing detector key.
