So, what does it overhaul? the range at wich you can see the artifacts on your radar?

doing that would make the anomalies appear too small on the screen sadly, its mostly a retex/recolor of it, the original model was somehow using most of its texture from the veles, it was even written veles on it.

Hello, is there any way to shrink the devise FOV without shrinking the gun FOV?

i'm not sure what "devise" FOV is, can you explain what exactly are you looking to do ?

Ok, sry my bad english, It is difficult for me to express myself in the language... What I want to say is that I use the HUD FOV in 0.45, but when I use the detector I see him very far, something like that (captures taken from the web to use as an example, they are not mine)
Media.moddb.com

And I would like to see him like this (without modifying the 0.45 FOV of the weapon)
I.ytimg.com

I hope I have explained myself better and that you understand what I want to do, thank you

You can't. I suggest you get EFT reposition and alternate aim sights instead

plz can u replace that big yellow funky artefact icon with a simple texture. a simple green blob for artifacts is best!

I just saw that folder hierarchy changed in the latest version 1.2. The item_detector_4_x.dds files are now in the "item"-folder itself and not in the subfolder "detektor4". Is that intentional?

That wasn't intentional, my bad, uploaded fixed version, thank you for catching this !

For those using MO2: Install it, accept that the layout won't work. Put the first "textures" folder into a new folder "gamedata". Profit.

This is really good, but for convivence please do a gamedata folder first.

This is cool, and does just as you intended. It makes the Svarog stand out more from the Vales, with it's physical appearance changes along with the screen changes with the icons and other elements of the screen really make it a more unique item and feel more like an upgrade. 10/10.

Any time I try installing it through MO2 no matter what I do, the colored version never works and just defaults to the main version. Has this happened for anyone else?

Great mod, but what keeps it being a 10 is the fact that it waits to load in its various textures etc till you pull out your detector, if you could make it load this when you load a game this would be better than the lag it gives when you pull the detector out.

Thank you, i haven't noticed any lag since playing with this device texture when pulling it out, sounds more like an issue on your side ? might be file fragmentation, not enough ram, loading game assets from HDD..

All other mods/stuff running fine, only lag I ever get is when I open up this detector, the first time on a load. after that it runs fine.

Really nice! Just wish there was a version that removed the annoying screen overlay animation; the scanning wave is cool but the rotating circles, moving lines and distortion loop don't look that great.

At least the detector is actually satisfying to look at and use now, the coloured version is also very helpful. I also like that it actually has the right name on it. Great job.
