tldr: i took the effort to make the mod modular, i would prefer that ppl take advantage of that. There are benefits for both of us. But i can't compel that.

I built the mod to accept additional content modules. If you take this mod and delete everything from the original mod it could then be installed alongside my mod and the end result will be the same.

except that when i come back to add to my mod or make bug fixes your content pack will automatically benefit as it won't be including the core mod, just adding content to it.

You could even make multiple content packs of different themes and ppl could pick between them.

And the ppl you send to get my mod in order to load your content pack, might look at my other mods and get some of them too.

technically what you have done is not a violation of the licence i put on this mod so there isn't any way i could compel you to do it the way i suggest.

remove everything that came from my mod except the layout of the folders.

the only parts you need are the parts you made. as long as they are in the same folders structure they are now. when both are installed together everything will be in the same place you have it now and my script will find it an load it. (i encourage you to test this and if you have issues PM me here or on the anomaly discord.)

I had intended to make a better guide. this had always been half a joke. I intend to add features that allow more complex things to be collected, like journal pages, or stalker cards (think a strellock baseball card). it has just taken a long time to circle back. Someone like you adding content packs may be just the motivation i need. But it will be easier for me to do that if there isn't a rogue copy of the script getting passed around :)

I ment you only need to include your collection. Leave out everything else including the script. Then tell ppl that they need to get my mod as well.

Like your file is a patch that adds content to my mod, but doesn't work on its own.

Either way, I'll stop pestering you. If you do keep including my script just keep an eye out for updates.
