Anomaly is a standalone S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod powered by an x64 version of the X-Ray engine. Starting with version 1.5.0 Anomaly uses a custom engine build called the XRay-Monolith engine. After almost one year of development of the Anomaly 1.5.0 update, the mod continues its way on expanding and adding new features while maintaining a high level of quality and replay value.
A revision for the night vision googles. Makes little adjustments to the effects and changes the overlays.
My Little NVGs 1.2
This is my take on the night vision goggles in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly. I was not really happy with the default representation, so I decided to adjust them more to my liking. Mainly I reduced the image noise grain size, removed the "jumps" in some animations cycles and changed the vignette overlays.
To install this mod, extract the "gamedata" folder to your "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly" main directory. Of course NO new game required.
To customize the NVGs rename the desired files from the "NVG Customizing" folder and copy/overwrite the ones in the "gamedata" folder. When renaming, exchange the curved brackets part with the appropriate number (1, 2 or 3).
- Added optional vignettes with opaque edges.
- Changed the color of the second NVG to a more blue hue.
- Added customizing options: including alternative colors, enlarged vignettes and a slightly more pronounced saturation effect for the third NVG.
I got the inspiration for the overlays from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOrUP0Rq6Jg) by Dslyecxi.
