FOR ANOMALY 1.5 BETA 2.4 ONLY
Unfortunately, I had to take this mod down for a little while because some players were reporting that they were having issues with it not working properly and I had very little time to work on due to my hectic work schedule.
What is this? : Ok, so this is an addon that I made for myself and decided to share with other players. The purpose of this addon is change up the equipment screen a little bit so that you can carry a sidearm along with 2 primary weapons.
What it does and how it does it: What it does is, it changes up some of the weapon files to allow you to equip a pistol in the default knife slot, a knife in the default bolt/shell casing slot and bolts/shell casings share the same slot as other throwable weapons i.e. grenades.
Things included in this addon: Quick attack script, melee buff and fixed files. Press T by default to initiate a quick melee attack. The quick attack has been buffed to be strong enough to break a box with a single attack. The downside (or upside) is that the quick attack can do massive damage to NPCs and kill most weaker mutants in a single hit. If you want to change the default key, you'll need to open quickdraw.script and edit this line: "if (key == 20) then --T" and change the number 20 to any number found HERE.
IF YOU NOTICE THAT YOUR KNIFE IS GOING INTO THE GRENADE SLOT OR GRENADES ARE GOING INTO THE OLD BOLT SLOT INSTALL THE FIX FILES AND OVERWRITE THE EXISTING FILES! OTHERWISE DO NOT INSTALL THE FIX FILES!
This is semi-compatible with saved games. The only thing you should do before installing this mod is unequip any pistols and knives you have equipped and place them in a stash. Once you load your save, you might have to purchase a new knife to make it fit into the proper slot.
