Adds keybinds to quickly switch between different devices.
This addon adds keybinds for different device categories to quickly change between them.
Main goal was reducing all the annoying inventory management when player needs to swap to their detectors for searching anomalies, geiger counter to check their rads and RF-Reciever for doing various tasks and so on. Now it all can be done via pressing simple key combination without breaking the flow of gameplay.
All this was achieved via utilizing MCM keybind functionality to its full potential. What would previously be using 6 different keys now can use only one and can be fully configured by user up to their personal preference with minimal effort on modder side!
Default categories:
Detectors (e.g Svarog, Veles etc.), RF-Reciever, Geiger counter, Flashlight, Anomaly detector. If you have glowsticks installed - it adds another category for them.
When you switch to a device best one will be picked from you inventory (highest tier + highest charge) from that category. If device of that category is already in slot - it will be pulled out, even if there's better device in your inventory.
Default controls:
- Detectors -> Single press B
- RF-Reciever -> Double press B
- Geiger counter -> Long press B
- Flashlight -> Shift + Single Press B
- Anomaly detector -> Shift + Double press B
- Glowsticks -> Alt + Simple press B
As said previously addon uses MCM keybind functionality and as so it won't work without MCM version 1.6+ installed. Otherwise addon can be installed like any other via mod organizer of choice or manually.
Addon shouldn't conflict with anything, unless is a keybind conflict, which can be easily solved via going to addon mcm and changing settings.
Q: I want to use this instead of vanilla keybind, how do I do it?
A: Unbind your vanilla detector key (either bind it to something random or edit user.ltx), then switch keybinds to your detector key of choice in the addon MCM.

Единственное гг берет предмет из инвентаря в независимости что стоит в слоте?
Если у тебя в слоте уже стоит предмет из данной категории (например ты нажал сочетание под категорию детекторы и у тебя в слоте уже стоит медведь) - он просто достается. Если предмет из другой категории, то выбирается лучший предмет из инвентаря (например у тебя в инвентаре есть отклик и велес, выберется велес т.к он лучше) и переносится в слот, после чего достается.

Мод просто огонь..... А можно подобные комбинации замутить для еды или других предметов(сигарет например, для различной медицины...)? типо использовать клавиатуру нумпада с зажатиями, + зажатиями шифта альта двойным.... будет воообще огонь.....

Make 100% sure you have very latest version of MCM, this error is caused because your MCM is not latest.

This is handy and hopefully can be added as a default Anomaly keybind down the road. I can't count the times I have gotten shot or worse while opening up my inventory to switch devices in slot. You rock!, 10/10!.
Can you add a keybind to activate Headlamp/NVG as well?

This is fantastic, with the modifier keys and the double tap and long press options... this is awesome!
Rather soon MCM will get an update with a feature that allows for rebinding most vanilla binds to MCM system (so the binds support double taps, long presses, additional key etc.), so I think doing this separately would be redundant.

how would i go about adding a new detector to the list of accepted devices to switch to?
in gamma, there's a new detector called grizzly i think that doesn't seem to work with this addon sadly. any ideas?

adding "detector_grizzly" into the devices category in the mcm file seems to work

just use the mcm key wrapper if you got 1.5.2
it literally does the same thing but has extra options.
