You are no longer endlessly teleport between locations. Introduces limit and taxation (optional) to fast travelling
Very simple mod that limits your fast travel possibilities and applies money tax for each fast travel
By default you can travel once per every 24 hours and you gonna pay for each travel. The tax amount will depend on the distance between your position and where you want to travel (thanks to Grimscribe and his Immersive Fast Travel mod for a chunk of code that gets the correct distance). Travel to your backpacks is also limited and taxed
Mod comes with MCM options to adjust availability period and tax multiplier. You can lower period to 12 hours, or bump them up to whooping 7 days for true xcvb experience. The tax multiplier ranges between 0 and 5. With 0 your fast travels will be free of charge

That would also be a good option, but since money is a sort of equivalent here (like, as if you just purchased the necessary items with money, food, some resources etc.) that's still a valid option, I think

Id also like if possible to add more guides for factions, and give egisting ones more places they could travel. Just a though. Ty for this mod :))
Redirect search for "More Guides" add-on, it tries to balance out locations though so it wont be easy to go from the Bar to the Creek or past the Red Forest in general direction.
Make it cost food supply (better if you choose what, food and drinks, to get the thirst and kcal equivalent to reach a destination) instead of roubles (who even gets the money lmao) and this would be perfect. The prospect of food in STALKER has never been significant before and this is the perfect opportunity to make use of it.

imagine fast travel as "mobile guide service", similar as guides in bar, zaton, etc.... when you point a point to fast travel, the free guide of said service comes to you and guide you to teh place. so you pay for it. and others stalkers also use it thats why there is a time limit for it. I hope that with this piece of mind limited fast travel became 69420% more immersive and actually reasonable, thanks

Hey! How about go do this mod more interesting?
Say, if u fast travel from Cordon (Escape) to Radar, there is a script coming in that check a locations between those to traveling points.
Each location got "danger points" and some Smart locations pool.
Cordon (5 points of danger) Junkyard (10 points) Rostok (10 Points) Freedom Military base (20 Points)
So before traveling, script pick random number out of 100, and if that random number < Danger points of any location = pick 1 random smart point location to Spawn PLAYER on that smart, then spawn a group of enemies in certain radius around him.
That would be so cool!

This is an excellent mod, for realism purposes.
However, I feel that the game already has the same concept in it, in the form of guides. It's just a thought but perhaps It would be better to enhance in some form the accessibility to guides, which I feel is an underestimated resource in the game. I barely see anyone on Youtube or Twitch that plays Anomaly using them (guides).
It's a shame that it is a kinda forgotten component of the game, but it's a canon one, since it was in CoP.

There are. I just feel it's not enough. At least, not when everybody loves to talk about immersion. Then again, I don't know how to code, and talk is cheap. No one is charging for addons, and I'm thankful for any contribution.

Thanks for this!, i felt 'guilty' when using fast travel, this is perfect for just using it for convenience sometimes and not abuse it.
I like this mod. Only thing I think could add to it is some flavor text when asking for price. Something like: [Random Guide's Name]: "I'm nearby, and I can get you there safely in [travel time] using my personal routes. The price is [cost of travel], non-negotiable. Are you ready to go?"
Gonna use this anyway, just an idea if it sounds like something you'd want to add in the future.

Really cool mod, this is exactly what I was looking for. Fast travel is convenient sometimes when you don't want to keep taking the same routes back and forth over and over again, but there needs to be some cost or cooldown restriction. I've installed this addon alongside EFP 3.0 and it works fine. Thanks!
Feature request / new concept:
add option that fast travel can be interrupted on the half way by the enemy ambush. Example: you are in the Cordon and want to fast travel to the Bar, when you do this - there is a chance that you will spawn on the Garbage with enemy bandits attacking you instantly

it can be very difficult system, where script will check all your faction relations, and check if there enemy squads between you and your destination point. If there are some enemies - there is a chance that you will spawn near the enemy..
Or if checking enemy squads on your way is very hard or impossible: just spawn new enemies

hi!, a suggestion, make it so it behaves the same as iron man, i mean the timer, so you can't cheese it with sleeping to past time, also the lower limit should be shorter. Thanks for the mod.
Cool mode. How can I remove time restriction until next fast travel? I like this feature with spending money, but I find time limiter quite irritating and unnecessary.
