The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.

Description

A slightly modified version of Iretuerye's Golden Autumn Retexture to be desaturated for those who find the vibrant colors to be a bit much. It's still colorful, but less.

I want to use 'Aggressor Grass' and 'Golden Autumn' beautiful trees.
Any Idea how I can do that?

The easy way : keep the .db0 from Golden Autumn in the db folder and put the "level" folder in the gamedata/textures folder of the mod after deleting the old one. There are mainly tree and terrains textures in the db file while the grass is kept in the level folder.

The hard way : Learn how to unpack/repack db files and cherrypick everything you want to keep or replace. You can use this tool :

Thank you! I've been experimenting on and off for two days now to give my game the appearance of very late summer/early autumn. All of the texture packs are either too colorful or too deep into autumn. This solution gave me the proper gradient of trees, while keeping summer grass.

I essentially just want to simulate the slow changing of seasons in this playthrough. I won't bore anyone with the exact lapse of in-game days I'm using, but I'm transitioning from:

Summer (default Anomaly)
Early Autumn(this mod w/o grass)
Mid Autumn (Simple Autumn Retexture Desaturated)
Late Autumn (Dark Autumn)
Early Winter (Simple Autumn Retexture No Leaves)
Then one of the winter/snow mods.

Just haven't figured out spring yet.

It wouldn't really know to be honest. If someone with a honest PC can try and report any performance loss...

I wish to see that autumn in real life, like this one. I hate when every day is rainy, dirty...

Compared to vanilla and the original Golden Autumn mod, this version produces a white outline on the grass textures.

In bright weather, it really makes it grainy and hurts the eyes. Might wanna re-check the transparency alpha channels in the grass textures.

should I install the original mod first? I use gamma, the color of the grass to change well, however the trees remain without foliage...
