Do you like rainy weather? Try these cold, gloomy and miserable climates!
Great changes in update v1.2, Stalker!
Changes:
V1.3: W_cloudy1 was eliminated so that more prominence to w_cloudy2_dark.
v1.2: New climates were added and others were improved. More information in the post.
v1.1: "Acid rain" is improved.
Summary:
Are you also tired of playing anomaly as if you were on vacation in Aruba or playing Farcry 3?. This is a simple mod that I did to me. Eliminate all sunny or partially sunny climates. Instead, now there are only spooky mist, dark skies and torrential storms. Now the area looks colder, wet and miserable than ever. However, you can often see dawns and beautiful sunsets. The rest of the day will look bleak, sinister, wet and even very rainy.
Now the only climates are (Update v1.3):
Cloudy Dark ---> Now it's really dark and dramatic.
Foggy1 ---> A new demential appearance fog.
Foggy2 ---> A new dramatic fog.
Rain1 ---> Acid Rain. Now improved.
Rain2 ---> Vanilla weather with slight improvements.
Rain3 ---> Vanilla weather with slight improvements.
Storm1 ---> Vanilla weather with slight improvements.
Storm2 ---> Vanilla weather with slight improvements.
Acid Rain (Rain1):
"Acid Rain" is a misleading climate. The day begins very nice, but that moderate wind in the early morning does not predict anything good. It will rain intensely until sunset, with an anomalous appearance. The rain will not degrade your equipment (for the moment, I do not know how to do it).
Cloudy Dark is really dark:
It's not a good day to go to the beach. Dark and dramatic skies will give immersion to your hunting day.
Demential fog (Foggy1)
Foggy1 was never as creepy as now. 50 meters of vision at dawn, 75 the rest of the day until sunset. You better be attentive … you won't have much reaction time if a chimera chases you, Stalker.
Dramatic fog (Foggy2)
A very humid and mysterious fog day. Only 200 meters of constant vision throughout the day.

This mod works by itself and can be complemented with the modifications mentioned at the end of the post. However, if you want your game to look at the images, you must install this at the end of everything else to work!

The following commands are constantly altered:

This is because some of these modifications change them according to the time of day in the area. Do not modify them.
If you do not get the same vibration of colors as in my captures, I recommend using the VibranceGUI program. Use a value of 150, and you will have it.

The console command is r2_gloss_min. By default, it is 0.5 and if you want it to look more "wet," move it on. I use 0.7. Of course, if you do not complement it with the mods that I have mentioned at the end of the post your game will not be seen as in the captures.
What I meant was the rain effect on the ground. Where you can see the rain droplets and it makes the ground more reflective, not just the white shine of the specular (that's what gloss manipulates AFAIK).
I'm sorry, I'm not understanding what you mean. Maybe it's me, English is not my language. Interestingly, I just made a misty climate where the wet or wet effect is clearly seen. I'm still testing.

I know and I love it. Basically, it is the PBR but my mod along with others more help to achieve that aspect. Stalker always must be like that, in my humble opinion.

Of course. You must have the other Aruba.ltx climates next to those of my mod. If you don't have them, go to the Tools folder and use the unpacker.bat (not the unpacker_all.bat).

It would not be recommended, you could ruin your climate when mixing the mods. Sugeriria will not replace files.

I think it has a conflict with soundscape overhaul, is it possible a patch or something?
I can't provide you with a patch due to lack of time. However, I must say that this mod should not generate Crash because they are only climatic modifications, unless you have replaced files. I do not remember it, but if Soundscape Overhaul modifies the climates, try to merge the files with Notepad++.
Chernobyl zone isn't post-apocalyptic world. It's only area with a nice piece of nature and ruins of socialistic era. And some radiation, yes. If you add dangerous anomalies and mutated animals, zone will be extreme weird. But stalkers still can exit zone and go to normal world.
If this zone exists in our world I think it was be anything like extreme safari for rich peoples.
So, why Stalker should be gloomy?
And why stalkers don't adapt to conditions? I look for anything like small armored camps for sleeping in far areas. If normal people was in this conditions I think he will be using local sources to survive.
Man, if we got to list the amount of things that do not seem real in Stalker we would discuss for hours ... In principle, I made this mod for me. I wanted to feel what I felt when I played Metro 2033, Misery Mod or Stalker Shoc himself, which looks very gloomy. Since the result was good, I decided to share it with you because I know there are people who love the rainy weather in anomaly.
And I think Stalker always had to be gloomy because one of the strengths of Shadow of Chernobyl was just that, his gloomy appearance. Something that was practically not seen in Cs and Cop (perhaps that is why Shoc remains the best)
Great mod, had a lot of troubleshoot trying to get it work but i have to ask, can you put in the description the console values to make it look shiny and stuff?, or are the same commands as in your other mod Moddb.com ?

It is the mod Enhanced Shaders and Color Grading. If you mean moisture itself, it is the r2_gloss_min command.

I guess, this only modifies the climates. It should work. Try it at your own risk. Make a backup of your climates.
does this conflict with agressor reshade?
I have no idea, I have never used that Shaders mod. I guess I should work as long as Aggressor Reshade does not modify the climates.

If that mod modifies the LTX of the climates, then they will conflict with my mod.
