My Reshade Preset for Sharpness, Clarity, and Contact Shadows. UPDATE v1.3 Removed "Levels" effect because it caused weird ambient occlusion artifacts, changed clarity light setting to Soft Light from Hard Light for less eyestraining overbright lighting.
To use this, install Reshade, Select "legacy effects" to install, put "Franks Crispy Zone.ini" in your Anomaly's "bin" folder.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you turn off the in-game ambient occlusion.
ALSO RECOMMENDED that if the game has "halo's" around trees and bushes at night, you try adjusting gamma in your game settings, or on your PC's monitor itself.
When you get in-game, bring up Reshade settings, and pick the Franks Crispy Zone preset. This is my Reshade preset I tweaked for days to be exactly how I like with minimal performance impact. HOWEVER, the SSDO Ambient Occlusion does have about a 5-10% fps impact depending on your rig. If you are normally running anomaly 90fps in best case scenarios, you'll be fine. This Reshade focuses on Sharpening the image, creating better color contrast, and using Reshade ambient occlusion solutions that are superior to Anomaly's in-game Ambient Occlusion options (SSAO, HDAO, HBAO). I was originally using Marty McFly's screen space ray tracing (which isn't true global ray tracing). But I found that Reshade's SSDO actually looked better in Anomaly.
Changelog:
-V1.1 added "Levels" shader to enhance black levels and make the game even less washed out, with even better black/white contrast
-V1.2 Changed Clarity.fx setting from "Hard Light" to "Soft Light" for less eyestraining, overly harsh, overexposed lighting for very bright light sources.
-V1.3 Removed "Levels" for causing ambient occlusion artifacts
