The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Simple file replacement. Fixes the beeping-metallic sound fleshes make when killed. (Added a fix for water). Replaces flesh_death_0.ogg , flesh_death_1.ogg and flesh_death_2.ogg with flesh_death_3.ogg (Found in Anomaly folder\tools\_unpacked\sounds\monsters\flesh\)

I always imagined it was their collar or some chains making that sound when they died. No idea why, but it helped me explain why haha
Radiation gives a metallic taste feeling. So mutation might give a metallic tongue :)
I've always hated that sound and wondered where it came from in the game at all. Thank you for the correction!
And if I'm not mistaken, there is definitely a similar sound in one of the sounds of splashing water when you walk on it. This is also worth fixing
The problematic file is sounds\material\actor\step\n_water_1.ogg. I can upload a similar workaround for it.

It's a pretty neat idea, but making them all the same is weird. Especially if you kill more than one in a short span.
