Changes the actor portrait to actually match the actor's appearance. There were many examples of just completely wrong portraits being assigned to outfits, for example the freedom leather jacket used the freedom SEVA portrait or one of the merc suits having no portrait at all.
UPDATE 1:
- Added DLTX version for those that prefer that (thanks to izperehoda - Mod DB)
A FEW DISCLAIMERS:
- I am not really a modder, I just tweaked a few files here because the way portraits were assigned in vanilla anomaly bothered me enough to do all this. Essentially, I made this for myself but shared it here because why not?
- I was not able to fix everything, for a few outfits I had to go with whatever portrait best matched the appearance as there was no other option
SUMMARY:
This addon is meant to expand upon my first addon, Moddb.com which you should uninstall before using this new one.
All changes were made with the FVM -> Moddb.com installed, so I highly suggest installing that if you are going to use my addon. It is not required, but some changes may not make sense if you do not.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
- It changes the actor portrait (if set to change dynamically in the options) to actually match the
actor's appearance. There were many examples of just completely wrong portraits being
assigned to outfits, for example the freedom leather jacket used the freedom SEVA portrait or
one of the merc suits having no portrait at all.
WHAT DOES IT NOT DO?
- Does not add any new portraits to the game, portrait assignment was simply changed.
- Does not affect NPC portraits (I don't really know how to do this)
Some examples of portraits changed to match the actor appearance:
And many more...
REMEMBER:
Without FVM Moddb.com many changes may not make sense, so while it is not required for this addon to work you still want to have it installed (its a great addon regardless so you should install it even if you don't want to use mine)
If anyone has the ability/knowledge of how to:
1.) Incorporate these changes into the NPC portrait use
2.) Add new portraits with the same level of quality as what is seen in vanilla anomaly
As well as the desire to help, please let me know! I would really appreciate any help making this addon complete in all aspects.
Having it fix the NPC portraits too would be DOPE
I actually thought that they worked the same way but guess not, gl on finding the reason
I will do my best to try to figure out how to do this on my own, it may take some time though. I will update this addon with any changes in the future.
idk why the hell When I Use This Mod It Will Crash The Game
Issue
XL.ini
cant Open Stalker.outfit
is this mod conflict with something?
It directly edits the outfit files (such as o_sunrise.ltx)
I had no crashes from what I tested so I am not sure what could be causing it in your case.
I would try uninstalling any addons that change outfits one by one to see what is responsible.
There is also a DLTX version now to avoid conflicts if that is the issue.
idk what mod i installed , i'm not sure if conflict with ghillie suit overhaul
wait , is your mod contain o_lcs? , cuz ghillie suit overhaul have it
Yes, it modifies the o_lcs file, as that is where the portrait is assigned to the different LC outfits. You can use the DLTX version to avoid conflict or uninstall the ghillie suit overhaul if you want to use my addon.
you dont mind , if u update the mod to add ghillie suit overhaul Support?
but first you have to Test It Out If Actually Conflict with Ghillie Overhaul (Kinda lazy to download dltx tho)
I made a DLTX version of this addon. You should probably upload it instead of the current one, as it grants no conflicts and compatability with practically everything. Took me only a few minutes.

I will add it as an option when I get the chance, thank you.
