Expanded Starting Locations v1.1 - Updated 1/5/2020, Changelog Below!
For STALKER: Anomaly 1.5.0 B3 U4/H8 (But may work with earlier releases)
This add-on allows you to start wherever you want even when playing in Story Mode (with one notable exception, see below.) Additionally, I have added a few extra starting locations that were disabled in Anomaly by default, but were present in CoC and/or Last Day. And, maybe, a few that have never been seen before.
Disclaimers
Playing the additional starting locations without Accessible Zone enabled could potentially break progression with some factions, as it could make it impossible to leave your starting map. Do this at your own risk!
You will still only have the one starting location when playing as UNISG in Story Mode. This was intentional. You'll understand why if you have played Story Mode as UNISG.
Some starting locations (i.e. Outskirts) may require alternate routes (i.e. Jupiter Underground) to transition out of while the Brain Scorcher is still active.
Installation
Extract the zip file to your STALKER: Anomaly directory and start a New Game!

In testing Military spawn locations, I discovered that the 'Eastern Checkpoint' location in Truck Cemetery spawns you right in the middle of the 'Outskirts' Bandit base despite being named differently. To resolve this I've created an entirely new spawn location called 'Central Watchtower' which replaces 'Eastern Checkpoint' for the Military. As the name implies, you will spawn at the large watchtower at the center of Truck Cemetery.

The starting locations in Anomaly all make sense, but I miss the ability to start in different parts of the Zone like in Vanilla Call of Chernobyl.
Yeah, I agree, the single default starting locations for each faction totally make sense with Story Mode enabled. It allows new people to be right next to their faction leader and get the quests going right away, and also prevents new players from screwing up their game by getting themselves stuck somewhere.
Still, I enjoyed starting somewhere else in CoC and making my way to the faction leader organically to kick off the various quest mods. This add-on just gives you some options :)
Maybe in a future update I should put a 'Default' tag next to the original starting locations, in case people forget?
the image shows the southern checkpoint in cordon. as a starting location for loners but I'm not seeing that in game. Just the cordon rookie village
Southern Checkpoint is the military base at the southern tip of Cordon. It's a starting location for Military STALKERs.
I see the locations for UNISG haven't been modified.
The UNISG start is heavily scripted. It plays more like a squad-based shooter as you move from op to op with your squad. I don't know if starting somewhere else would break this, so I decided not to add any additional locations for UNISG.
UNISG is the one faction where the default start makes perfect sense - you are hostile to absolutely everyone, you cannot trade or repair with anyone except your UNISG squadmates, and you really need the mobile trade/repair services your squad provides to gain any real traction.

Oh, and a note: I might be wrong, but your mod isn't appearing from the search bar of by the pages, naturally, when someone is searching for mods normally. Instead, I've found your mod by a link in another mod, that I don't remember right now.
