A mod which horror-ifies your giants and poltergeists. No longer is a giant out in an open field just a big fat joke. Now, legends of the Zone come true. Run for your life!
Features: Psuedogiants now do more damage, and can soak up a considerably larger amount of damage themselves. Damage locations / hit multipliers have also been tweaked: headshot deals less damage, but spine shots do more damage. Giant's speed has been increased as well, so good luck outrunning him (especially when he slows you with shock wave). Poltergeists: includes xcvb's "NEW POLTERGEIST EFFECTS 0.1" mod (Moddb.com), with modifications by me. Basically, changed some MCM defaults and removed telekinetic poltergeists from "teleport nothing personal kid style" behavior. Now only pyrogeists will have the teleport / backstab behavior. Also, the poltergeists stats have been changed. They are completely immune to anomalies damage, and each poltergeist has a different table of damage which can affect them:
- Telekinetic poltergeist: Immune to gunfire and melee, but can be killed with an explosive. Standard behavior as default Anomaly poltergeist.
- Pyrogeist: Immune to explosives and melee, but can be killed with gunfire. Can teleport behind you and moves extremely quickly.
- Black poltergeist: Immune to gunfire and melee, but can be killed with explosives (more resistant to damage than telekinetic ghosts are) or fire damage (such as from Molotovs or leading them into burners). Drains stamina when nearby.
Mod uses DLTX files, so shouldn't conflict with other mods which affect mutants... hopefully.
