If you have to find one in the wild first for your mechanic and need one to craft one of the same level, what exactly is the point of this mod?

and u not need to look for another tools later ;/

You don't lose a basic toolkit when you craft a basic toolkit. That wouldn't make sense. The requirement is that you've given the same level of tools to your mechanic (or just have it in your inventory) to enable crafting of that type of tools at his workbench.

For example, you find your first basic tools in the wild and bring them to Xenotech. After that, all you need to craft more basic tools at his workbench are the recipe book and four components: swiss knives, fasteners, duct tapes and packs of bolts.

I've also added a version that doesn't require the recipe books.

The point of the mod is that you don't need to rely only on RNG for tools anymore.

This kills all interest in the game. Without this mod, the tools are ok on the highest difficulty. In each group I have from 10 to 30 pieces and I haven't been to Radar yet.

how do I remove the requirement of needing a basic tool kit to make a basic toolkit?, I've already increased the materials needed to make each toolkit (so I have to craft and grind more without getting it easily in marked stashes)

I don't believe it's possible without changing the way the vanilla crafting system works fundamentally. With vanilla crafting all recipes require a type of toolkit to craft. It might be possible using for example this mod Moddb.com but I don't know for sure
