The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Adds health regeneration when hanging around lit campfires.
Adds a small amount of health regeneration when near a lit campfire. Won't bring you back to full health quickly, but should help bring you back up while you sort through your stash and drink with the boys. Take a load off, and come sit by the fire with us.
Addon is one newscript and should not conflict with anything.
That's still being tweaked. Let me know how balanced it seems. I might add a max cap to the health restored or something, but this is a pretty small feature.
Sorry is this is late (and against some sort of ettiquite <- Im new to moddb) but if you do add a cap I'd suggest making it so it only applies if you are below a certian health threshold (i.e if below 85% health you can only heal to 80%, but if youre above 85% you can heal fully).
ngl, it would have been nice to also be able to skip time like sleeping AND health generating at the same time. love the idea, but let the character stay idle around the campfire for like 5 hours in game time to heal (if i ever have to, and ofc, after sorting the invent and chilling) is a big hassle.
This mod is great, it triggers me when I wake up from sleeping to immediately eat and drink but still lose HP, but since I only save at campfires I can now regen the health i lose at the campfire before I head out. Thanks for making this :)
This addon has a lot of potential, like, while your health would be regenerated, you could also REST near the campfire. "press F to rest" for your character to rest for 10~30 minutes in-game then the screens gets black for a sec and then ALL dead mutants respawn in the map AGAIN. Just like Dark Souls.
I was/am really excited for this mod, but it doesn't seem to be working for me at all. I stood around at the fire for a long while and nothing happened :( All my mods go thru MO2 and i've never had an issue except with failures but then I delete the bad mod. Any tips would be huge!!
It started working for me only after I added "zzz_" at the beginning of the file name. (It has something to do with successful registering of the callback function whatever it may mean)

It would look good with a winter Pak, like frostbite, loss of Health, and a bonfire recovery

This doesn't appear to be working. Do I just add the 'scripts' folder directly into the Gamedate folder in my installation?
Yes. The health regeneration is very slow and will be noticeable if you spend some time organizing your stash while next to a fire.
To increase recovery rate... do I just increase the value of -
local health_regen = 0.000005

Yes, just fiddle with that.
Haven't looked at what's in the script yet, but how about the idea of restoring psy health? as in the NLC.
That should also be included.

Any chance a patch could be made so it heals limbs in Groks health system redux?

maybe you can make it so it only restores your health if you're at 75% or more.
That way it'll still keep medkits etc useful, just a thought
is this usable with groks body health system?
I use both mods and they are, in fact, compatible with each other. Regeneration is very slow though (almost not noticeable) which I think is good.

BHS heals only the limbs :D

The regeneration from this mod is abysmal.

Not even joking the default value in the script file is so low you could play without it and not notice the difference.
