******* Recommend using this instead: moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/misterkats-realism-addon Contains this mod and another repair QOL improvements/tweaks ******* 1.2 - hotfix compatibility, increase drop ranges 1.1 - updated to make outfit drop quality wider and reduce heavy ammo occurrence relative to light ammo, as well as making ammo drops wider (possibility of no ammo on enemy, as in he ran out).
Makes ammo and outfit drops more realistic. I thought it was ridiculous that enemies only dropped 5-10 rounds (if that). Not only did it totally destroy immersion, but it also effectively killed looting and eliminated firefights until late game: why get into a firefight when even accurate fire will result in you owing $ at the end. Vanilla settings basically turned this game into a mission->money->buy ammo grind instead of the looting game it was meant to be. This blows wide open the amount of ammo an enemy can drop, as well as increasing the condition of enemy armor. Looting is fun again, and you don't have to hit F9 every time you "waste" ammo by not skewering 2-3 exoskeleton enemies with a single shot to the brain stem.
