My ANUS accomodates D!CK, if you don't use DICK, then you may experience issues with my ANUS.
I'm yet to fully test this with base anomaly, but i cannot forsee any issues with it.

My ANUS fits GAMMA, This has been made with compatibility with that modpack in mind so carries across all of the files to be compatible. Load it last. I will do my best to update it for compatibility over time.

Great effort has been made to keep this lore-friendly. Consulting with Anoamaly and GAMMA discords to get feedback, lore guidance, resources and coding help.

I have also tried to make this as compatible as possible by DLTX

I have done my best to test this addon and in doing so, have ironed out what i think are all issues/bugs. As always, please bare in mind this addon is new so there may be issues.

LANGUAGE COMPATIBILITY

Sadly, my ANUS only speaks English. At current, no Ruski-bro version :(
If one day someone has a lot of time and patience, it may happen.


GENERAL COMPATIBILITY
This will conflict with anything that modifies the same files it modifies. The best way to check is using 'WinMerge' or Notepad++ or various other tools. Or just add it to MO2 if you use it and see what it over-writes.


BASE ANOMALY
At current, not compatible with Base Anomaly, but it's very easy to do (I just have to find time, or if someone beats me to it first!)

What can my ANUS do for you?
It overhauls almost every aspect of the Stalker Names within Anomaly.
The plans is to give factions a more Unique flavor through their members Names.

A quick intro of some of the features inside my ANUS:

• Nearly 2,000 Real Ukranian/Russian sounding Surnames (For factions that use it, ie; Military, Duty)
• Over a thousand 'nicknames', many used for individual factions to create more uniqueness and flavor.
• Callsigns for Mercenarie's naming "White Dragon" "Cobalt Bear" "Hungry Fox" etc.
• 'Cult' Ranks system for Monolith's naming. "Master" "Inquisitor" "Disciple" etc.
• Merges the old Bandits and Ecologist first-names into a larger 'first name pool' shared by multiple factions.
• 30 Slavic Deities for SIN's Surnames.
• European Ranks system for UNISG and European Surnames.
• DLTX'd system.ltx edits and new .xml's for maximum compatibility with the base game.
• Updated/changed some Names and Nicknames of Females stalkers indtroduced by D!CK

Loners:
Still use the same system they did before, just a lot of new first & last names, and many last names changed or re-purposed for other factions.

Bandits:
Bandits use the same first names as everyone else that uses normal first names, but previously had a tiny pool of last name nicknames they can use. They now have hundreds of names, and a unique pool of nicknames for last-names. Their nicknames are all grungy, 'bad' sounding things such as "Scum" "Mayhem" "Blood" etc.

Clearsky:
Using the same first-name pool as others, they also have a Clearsky & Ecologist pool of nicknames shared between the two. The nicknames are all sciencey, technology and nature-sounding type nicknames.

Duty:
Same as before, but a LOT of last names to use. Previous pool of real surnames was 244, it's now 1775.

Freedom:
No real change, just a lot of new names in the pool they use, which is the Stalker/Loners pools.

Mercenary:
They now use 'callsigns' for first and last names. You'll get things like "White Dragon" "Hungry Fox" "Raging Jellyfish". Last names are animals, and first name is usually an element, colour or thing. They usually sound logical but if you notice anything that doesn't quite match i can review.

Military:
Same as before, just a lot of new last names to use.

Ecologist:
In the same last-name/nickname pool as Clearsky, so they now have a hell of a lot more variety for nicknames.

Monolith:
Monolith now have a cult-rank system, the higher ranks are "Master" followed by "Elder" and "Inquisitor" and some other ranks in the few rank tiers below.

UNISG:
Added a lot of European surnames for UNISG, and they now use a European military ranks system too for their first names.

SIN:
Sin have normal-sounding first names, but use Slavic Deities as their Surnames, to keep theme with the game and how Sin seem to be presented as a cult, and there's also Charon so, you know.

Renegade:
Using the same last-name/nickname pool as bandits, but they are the Renegades first names. They have no last-names, meaning Renegade only have one name. You will get things like "Slug" "Cutter" "Slayer" "Terror" "Terrible" etc.

Q: Can this be used with my current playthrough?:
A: Yes, it won't show new names immediately, it may take several days, weeks, in-game for there to be a noticable difference, as things need to respawn/spawn for there to be changes. It does however change/re-number several pre-existing names, so you may notice some immediate changes but others will take time.

Q: Can this be used without D!CK and GAMMA?
A: Nothing immediately sticks out as to issues playing this without those two, i haven't tested it in this way however so please let me know your experience if you'd like to play with it without either of those two. I can't forsee any issues but the only difference is you might have some Stalkers have ranks changes, due to some files that D!CK and GAMMA change. At worst, a new 'vanilla anomaly' version can be made with relative ease, so i will put this in the to-do's.

Q: What are the risks of using this addon?
A: Because it heavily plays with the naming of a lot of Stalkers, if you decide to remove the addon after starting a new game, you're going to have a bad time. You'll likely get a lot of 'missing' names, so many npc's will show up as (example) stalker_name_997 instead of having a name.

Q: Can you change X feature or make a separate addon for Y feature?
A: Currently my priority is just the current version, but you are totally free to edit/modify and re-upload a variation of this, just please link to this addon in page of the new version and communicate that this is the original. Happy to take on any ideas for possible future changes and updates, however!

Q: Does this affect performance of the game?
A: In my testing there has been zero performance impact. Apparently text is cheap on resources.

v5 - Wrong ANUS
- Fixed 5 names for UNISG with weird characters that ended up turning into "?" 's. (Thanks AAAAAAAA)!

- Fixed 'Randomize' Crashing the game occasionally. (usually after 2 or 3 times)
- Added and modified ui_mm_faction_select.script so that every 'randomize' option correctly selects the name pool for the relevant faction. (Yes it's compatible with GAMMA)
- pri_special_trader_mlr2 deleted from character_desc_pripyat.xml (This add-on is now 100% Gamma compatible, not 99.99%)

Fixed crash/issue for Non-DLTX ver because i forgot to remove the women's names that Dux's uses. Sorry!

- Create an addon variant for those that don't use D!CK (for some reason....)
