ABF is ARX module - changes all calculations for every elemental damage and all anomalous damages you get through game. Some anomalies are more challenging, some are more fair (burners). Also fixes Poltergeists and makes them fun again!

This addon is also etiher a bit harder than standard ABF (version "TYPE 5.2) or lot more harder than standard ABF (version "TYPE 16") - according to what version you choose
NOTE: "OLD" ABF is alright and if you are happy with it, you can keep using it... I am more less sure both type 5.2 and type 16 of new version of ABF are harder in terms of difficulty.

Warning: USE ONLY ONE VERSION OF MAIN ADDON - PICK ONE - EITHER TYPE 16 (HARSH) OR TYPE 5.2 (HARDER THAN VANILLA BUT NOT HARSH)
3 Optional alternate versions of poltergeist are located in folder "Tweaks".
4. Compatibility folder will have what you need for compatibility

6. If your favourite addon seems to be not compatible with Arx module and there is not immediately available compatibility patch, then you can try these options:
a. Make that compatibility patch
b. Load Arx module in order after said addon and maybe you do not need compatibility patch
c. Ask me to do that compatibility either in comments or in DM or on discord handle Jurkonov#3556
d. Hire and pay a mercenary addon maker to produce desired results

In which way is this more advanced than the previous mod? Im using the "older" mod version atm. Is this new version more stable? less resource consuming? only a harder version of the previous one? what is it? :)

- I am able to create much more different difficulty curves than in previous ABF
- I am able to push fields and mines closer together - so you outfit can protect you now also partially against the mines
Though ... The last sentence can be advantage or disadvantage (More damage protected, more durability compromissed, etc.)
In all honesty - this addon is more advanced in possibilities for modders and only slightly better for players...
If you are happy with previous ABF (and I am seriously happy if you are) there is no problem if you stay in older ABF for few more weeks. I was not replacing it for a reason.
New ABF is like new frontier - it is exciting, in many situations much less forgiving or behaving radically different.
For me personally it is exciting project because I needed new firm standard to base my new helmets and new outfit system against. Now Works are ongoing but there is very good chance that type 16 will be standard version used as standard in my new helmet and outfit lineup.
I plan few "finishing touches" to the new ABF in this month ... while old ABF is finished product and I will not touch it probably.
Criminally underrated mod.
Only mod that actually revives the formidable Poltergeists of Stalker, killed by Anomaly Devs, who turned them into harmless orbs.
I lt seems to work on 1.5.2 although I worry that not fully, since it relies on engine mod.
