Improvements interaction with companions and their management.
Companion groups
Groups were created in order to simplify the command of companions.
To move a companion to a group, you need to select him using the appropriate «Group command» button, then approach the companion and use the «Assign to group» button.
If the companion is already in the selected group or is not the leader of the companion squad, you will see a message about this.
New companions are automatically moved to the first group.
Companion movement (beta)
To change the formation, use the «Change formation» key. Your companions will automatically select a new movement position. The name of the new formation will be shown in a message on the screen. When using Defense formation, the first companion from the list will always be in the forefront of the squad. Added the ability to give a command to turn off flashlights to individual groups of companions.

Relax of companions (beta)
Your companions also get tired on long trips. You can send them to rest with use the «Rest» key. All groups that receive this command will look for the nearest resting place.
Surge cover (beta)
The surge will not spare anyone, not even your companions. Now they themselves can determine when the release will surge and will try to find shelter from it. Someone will start to panic, someone will immediately start looking for you, but in the end everyone will try to stay alive.

No matter how many times i read this i still got no idea what it is, but hey anything that improves squads or companion are a big thumbs up for me.

does the play idle animations work with those added from semi radiant like sleeping in beds etc?

All right. 3 squads available. In the MCM settings, you can configure keys to control squads. You can travel with one of the squads, or with all of them together.

There will be several different formations to move. Movement in one column, movement in a wedge and others.

It will be the same mod. In the MCM, you can see a ready-made tab for setting up squad movements. Formations will only be for the player's companions for now.

The "COMPANIONS OBEY" mod simply removes comments from some lines of the "axr_beh" file, in particular the binder section (lines 674-676 and 871-877). If you do the same manipulations with this file from our mod, the effect will be the same as that of "companions_obey". To be honest, my companions search the corpses even without this mod. The search for artifacts, I think, was deliberately disabled, NPCs in anomalies do not die. In the near future, we will implement the mechanics of finding dynamic anomalies so that NPCs can also bypass them. Added the Fixes section to the mod header.
Okay after a day of playing with the addon, i cant for the life of me still figure out how to send someone to a different squad. I got two Mercs with me, picked them up separately. So because they are their own squad commanders i cant divide them? Can you make a video on how to do the squad division?
Movement/Formation working nicely. Although for some reason on Marching formation companions stay really far from each other in one queue. Maybe make that distance a little shorter?

I didn’t quite understand what the problem was to transfer a companion to another group. Press the button to issue a command to group 1, 2 or 3 (by default numpad1, numpad2 or numpad3). Approach your companion and press the Assign to group button (by default P). An inscription should appear that the partner has been transferred to another squad or an error message. In MCM, all this is scheduled and you can configure the control buttons.

So I was trying this way. First I select squad 2, then approach the guy I want and press assign button when the "squad 2" message is still up while looking at him. But nothing happens :( I also tried with opening the companion wheel but no luck.
Using the new update 1.104 and now it works :D
I can’t say what the problem with the groups for you. In 104, the distance to the companion for interaction was slightly increased, maybe because of this. It's good that everything worked.

Hey I see you made a patch for the "Companions Obey" addon how do I go about installing that patch?
Yes. The gamedata folder from the fix can be copied with a replacement to our plugin and only the plugin can be connected. Or you can connect fix separately after the plugin. The Obey addon does not need to be installed.

been playing with the mod for a few days now and seeing my companions marching beside me instead of following me in a conga line really adds to the immersion, bravo good sir, this mod will never leave my load order like i said before, looking forward to seeing these new squad schemes implemented into the npc squads

Tried it with EFP v4 but it doesn't seem to work. They don't follow formations. I really would love to play with this. They do try to be in formation when I set it to attack formation but they're behind me. Marching formation, they just bunch up in one place behind me. May be conflicting with Companions anti-awol?
The description contains the scripts that the addon edits. If another addon edits these scripts, then the conflicts are precisely because of this. Give me a link to the addon, I'll see what it edits.

The rest mechanic doesn't seem to work.
Try downloading again and replacing the addon. There were minor edits. The definition of the nearest point was changed to the position of the protagonist. The companion does not always catch the rest point, made it dependent on the position of the player.
A little wonky, could be more user friendly, but otherwise I love this mod concept and it's staying in my modpack.
Curious as to why the flashlights don't work though. I tell them to turn them on or off and nothing happens. Does it have to be at night?
P.s. Any way you can add walk side by side close formation? I want to simulate combing lol
Flashlights are only used at night. We didn’t dig deeper into the script, we considered it unnecessary.
It is possible to make such a formation. But again, it all depends on the location. Companions do not always correctly find the path and there are delays.

Hmm. I missed replying to this. For me I find it a little tedious to assign groups and during this time was having difficulties with ordering different groups. It seems when I ordered someone into squad one, they responded with a different squad call, and this happened multiple times.

Что значит нет настроек? Какие настройки вам нужны? К сожалению ваш фидбэк очень запутан. Поясните что бы вы хотели увидеть в аддоне. Попробуем решить.
в описании мода написано что есть режим отдыха и различные формирования движения на определенные клавиши и для их настройки используйте МСМ. Когда я зашел в настройки, то я обнаружил лишь описание вашего мода. А на данный момент у меня почему то вылетает игра при команде ожидания или следования.
В МСМ слева в первой колонке выберите наш аддон, во второй колонке выберите раздел аддона. Механик несколько, поэтому они разделены.
По поводу вылета, пришлите текст ошибки если можно, будем разбираться. Спасибо за фидбэк.
Почему напарники такие бессмертные? Они после нападения мутантов и других вражеских группировок погибают? Как их сделать, чтобы они погибали во время нападения? И ещё один вопрос: во время задания по спасению сталкеров, которые попали в плен, они чего-то от бандитов убегают. Это какой-то косяк? Подскажите пожалуйста, в чём проблема?
Обязательно проверим этот момент. Возможно, что скрипт затронул эти механики игры. У Вас стоят какие-либо еще аддоны для компаньонов, может «Companions Don't Die»?
Предполагаю, что заложник может топать к своему командиру, такой у него сценарий, постараемся поправить в ближайшее время.
Для компаньонов у меня стоят Companion Obey и всё. Больше эти аддоны на напарников кроме него не ставил
Сейчас выложим обновление. Там будут исправления по спасению сталкера. По поводу бессмертия, странно, что не умирают, наш аддон на это не влияет.
