Quality of life: you can pick up your empty stash when you click "Take all". Previously you had to put an item in and take it out to get the backpack.
Features
- Combines ui_inventory.script and item_backpack.script so that stash is picked up when "Take all" is pressed even if the stash was empty.
- If you have items in the stash then first "Take all" takes the items but leaves the stash in place.
- Very lightweight mod
Conflicts
- Banjaji's Tactical wheelbarrow v2.0+ ( Moddb.com ). That mod contains this one but the code is in a bit different form (features are the same). So if you intend to intall that mod then ignore/uninstall this one.
- Otherwise should be almost non-existent since I modified only a small part of ui_inventory.script and item_backpack.script with funtion injection. ui_inventory.script and item_backpack.script are here only to show if multiple mods work on the same script to avoid sneaky conflicts.
Installation
- Install. Drop the gamedata folder into Anomaly's main folder or enable the mod from the Mod Organizer 2. Give my mod lowest priority so everything else overwrites it.
- Uninstall. Revert the file back to previous version or delete it to revert it back to vanilla. Or simply disable the mod in Mod Organizer 2.
- Updating to v1.2. First uninstall and then install new version. This version changes script names so in manual install old ones are left behind when updating.
Final words
You can modify my changes or ideas in any way you want. However if your work is based largely on my ideas then please give credit! In case you find bugs please let me know!
Changelog
v1.0
v1.1
- Fixed a bug that taking all when inventory was sorted into one category lost items from other categories
v1.2
- Modified a function and renamed the monkeypatch so that the mod has less chance to conflict with other monkeypatches. Those who use manual install/JSGME need to delete the previous scripts when updating.
- Added a fix to a crash that came from vanilla Anomaly. It happened when you picked up a stash and didn't open the inventory before loading the game (eg going to another level).
- Now you will leave the stash on the ground on first "take all" (taking only the items). Second "take all" picks up the empty stash.
v1.3
- Updated for Anomaly 1.5.2 (pda quality of life and double click in inventory).
[Notice board]
Updated to v1.2. When updating then uninstall the previous version (delete the scripts) and only then install this version. This version brings a crash fix for vanilla Anomaly and the feature that you won't pick up the stash when simply taking items. If you don't like the feature then delete a_item_backpack_monkeypatch_Banjaji_pick_stash.script.
Updated to v1.3 which contains fixes coming with Anomaly v1.5.2.
I was expecting something like this coming from Demonized. Pretty epic if i might say.
Small, simple and useful.
Сначала не понял, а потом как понял.
Полезное.
Thank you it is working great
Updated to v1.1. Fixed a bug that caused some items to get lost if you used "take all" and your stash was sorted into one category (eg. "medicine and consumables"). Update if you don't want to lose some of your items!
Thanks for addon , just what needed !
Updated to v1.2. When updating then uninstall the previous version (delete the scripts) and only then install this version. It's necessary since I modified script names.
This update brings a fix for a crash that happened even in vanilla Anomaly and adds a feature that you will pick up only an empty stash. That means if you have items in it then first "Take all" takes items but leaves stash in place. In this case you need to click/use shortcut "Take all" twice to pick up the stash. If you don't like the feature then delete a_item_backpack_monkeypatch_Banjaji_pick_stash.script.
Also note that my Tactical wheelbarrow includes this mod but as of Tactical wheelbarrow v2.0 the code is a bit modified so you need to uninstall Pick up empty stash if you intend to use Tactical wheelbarrow v2.0+.
Отличный Мод! Спасибо
That was bothering me ! Working nice, thanks.
Though, it’s the same file as the Gamma’s addon for « better quick release », ( Apparently, only difference is one calling something « treasure_player » while the other calls it « treasure » ) will it collide ?
