SourceForts is a fort-building capture the flag game. Players are given a build phase to assemble a fortress to protect their flag, and then duke it out in the combat phase, making use of any of 5 distinct classes. The goal? Infiltrate (or fight your way into) the enemy base, grab their flag, and run like hell back to your base!
SourceForts 1.9.5 is a project to port the SourceForts mod to the OrangeBox engine (or later) for both Windows and Mac, on a brand new, bug-free codebase. It will not require Half Life 2 Deathmatch - all you need is the Source SDK Base.
SF 1.9.5 is backwards compatible with ALL SF 1.9.X maps. As work progresses, we will be showing off brand new maps, remastered classics, new block skins, and more.
In the mean time, please feel free to download our predecessors' final release, SourceForts 1.9.4.1 (included in our downloads), and play on the official Acropolis server [USA - East Coast].

We'd like to announce the active development of SourceForts 1.9.5.
Previously, SourceForts required Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, and lacked a Mac port. With 1.9.5, we've compiled on top the Source SDK Base 2007, and plan to release for both Windows and Mac. 1.9.5 will be backwards compatible with all maps from 1.9.0 and up, and will feature an updated SourceForts experience.
- 1.9.5 will feature new and updated maps, bug fixes, updated graphics and new block skins.
- Dedicated Server packages will be available for Windows and Linux.

Does this mod get many players? I loved playing Overwatch but they stopped updating when they went indie (and stopped updating that too) So i'm interested to play this.
There are players at certain times. Join the SF steam group and befriend some folks on there to get a game going.
