An ongoing overhaul of the RTS game Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2. Over 100 new ships, including Titans and Mega Titans, Massive fleets, stats overhaul and changes, tweaks of abilities and a ton of other changes that affects both the Campaign mode and Skirmish mode.
The old somnium design have gotten a revamp into the first Chaos Mega Titan, the Abyss class Mega Titan. "But Skalgrim," you say, "the Furious Abyss was destroyed in a massive explosion during the Horus Heresy and according to fan art from the early 90's it should have a trident shaped prow."
To which I state the following: There was three Abyss class ships made, The Furious Abyss, The Blessed Lady and the Trisagion. Two of which was destroyed, the Furious Abyss and most likely the Blessed Lady. Its original design was a pure fan-art ripoff from the original three pronged "Gothic Battleships" of the Imperial Navy in the first void warfare game made by games workshop - Space Fleet from 1991. The precursor to Battle Fleet Gothic. Now Im going to say, and everyone in the mod discord agrees, that this design was incredibly ugly (look it up) and not something I wanted to make. The game has serious limitations in what and how I can make ships, so the three pronged design in itself is very hard to get to work ingame so I'v scrapped that completely. This is what you get: A massive and dangerous behemoth of a ship that can cause immense problems for any enemy it faces. But no three pronged ugly ship.
Really puts the "ruinous" in "ruinous powers".
