Battles of Beleriand Documentary Series video - Silmarillion: Total War mod for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms
The First Age of the Sun and Moon is perhaps the most eventful timeline within the works of JRR Tolkien. It is steeped in theological and philosophical themes, while retaining the epic scale that most are accustomed to when they think of Tolkien. Our hope is to recreate, as accurately as possible, the words and ideas of the author into the Total War universe. As there is yet to be any concrete display of what we believe to be the greatest and most thought-provoking age within the world of Arda, here is to you Silmarillion: Total War.
The Battles of Beleriand is an upcoming mini-documentary series that will cover the great battles which shaped the fate of Arda's First Age, the consequences of which would be felt throughout the history of Middle Earth for the next six millennia. Every episode will feature a brief rundown of the context and aftermath of each major conflict and will also include a reenactment done using Silmarillion: Total War. This short trailer is just a taste of what is to come!
The first episode will air on Sunday at 9AM Pacific and will cover the western theatre of the First Battle of Beleriand.
