The First Age of the Sun and Moon is perhaps the most eventful timeline within the works of JRR Tolkien. It is steeped in theological and philosophical themes, while retaining the epic scale that most are accustomed to when they think of Tolkien. Our hope is to recreate, as accurately as possible, the words and ideas of the author into the Total War universe. As there is yet to be any concrete display of what we believe to be the greatest and most thought-provoking age within the world of Arda, here is to you Silmarillion: Total War.

If you're gonna rip-off my work and the work of others, the least you can do is give proper credit for your sources:
Eldar base by Shredder and Razor
Models by Lu Bu and Yarrum
Textures by Louis Lux

Hi Louis,

Happy to add explicit credit. The models themselves are so old and widely used that it's easy to lose track of precisely who worked on them 8+ years ago, especially when so many of those modders are no longer active, so my apologies. However I take issue with the notion that you're being "ripped off." Eldarinwe models are so ubiquitous in the TA modding community that using them in whole or part is hardly tantamount to theft. Especially given that the work is ultimately a derivative of copyrighted WETA workshop designs. Unless of course you mean to say that Third Age: Reforged, Divide and Conquer, Leo's overhaul, and nearly every Third Age mod out there are also thieves. I'm sure that's not your intent though, as that would be an absurd shot to take at the entire community over derivative designs. I've added the original modders names to the description, so thank you very much for bringing that to my attention! If you have any additional concerns then please feel free to send me a DM!

Cordially,

Jmonster

Description

In Silm we'll be adding a similar dynamic to the Regiment of Renown (RoR) system from Warhammer 1 and onward. Our take on them are the Legendary Companies! The intent of these units isn't to replace units within their faction (our rosters are small enough as it is!) but they will provide unique functionalities that will be good some of the time and less desireable in other circumstances. The below two units are the Accursed of Alqualonde and the Mariners of Earendil, belonging to the House of Feanor and the Elves of the Falas respectively. Legendary Companies will be available in both multiplayer AND campaign (indeed campaign will have a good deal more.)

The units pictured are the Accursed of Alqualonde (Sons of Feanor), the Mariners of Earendil (the Falathrim), and the Vorbak Gajutar, or Blind Hunters (Tol-in-Gaurhoth)
