Shattered Paradise is an expansion for Tiberian Sun on OpenRA, its goal is to (im)balance the game by adding new factions (Mutants, C.A.B.A.L. and Scrin) and reworking the original sides, all of this to create a game a little more varied and balanced than TS. The mod puts a lot of emphasis on making the factions as asymmetric as possible.

As a note, the animation plays very fast because it already uses an enormous amount of frames, I could increase them but I dont know if that could impact the game.

Very fitting with how Nod has a tendency of democratizing their Tiberium harvesting technology, while also proliferating Tiberium.

Description

Designed by a company that is now defunct for allegations of making deals with the Brotherhood of Nod, the blueprints for these buildings were stolen by civilian organizations shortly afterward, leading to large numbers of these being built across the world. These structures access underground tiberium deposits and slowly but steadily extract the substance to the surface for processing. Once enough crystal is extracted, it is quickly liquefied for ease of transport to the closest refinery. GDI has expressed its worries about its function due to the amount of pollution it generates, however such calls fall on deaf ears, as the people using these buildings see no other solutions to improve their living situation.
