I didn't quite understand it: "As you grow weaker with the force your lightsaber will also grow weaker."
You mean that you use the force to perform moves with the lightsaber (like blocking blaster fire)? What about more normal moves, such as attacking your opponent?
P.S. "grow weaker" -> "become weaker"
Otherwise I was confused the first time I read it.
The light saber will fade in colour ,get thinner and eventually go off.
If your blocking shots or a saber swing at the moment your force powers run out, the saber will go out and be knocked from your hands
