This is a mini mod I made to add some variety to the vanilla campaign of the original game.
The essence of this mini-mod is that 51 provinces have been added to the campaign map and are presented in three variations.

In the first option, 51 provinces are scattered among the factions, which allows them to increase their financial power, from the start of the campaign:
Germans, Greeks - 6 provinces each
Numidia, Parthia - 4 provinces each
Gauls, Seleucids, Macedonians, Carthage, Dacia - 3 provinces each
Scythians - 3rd province (+1 province taken from Parthians)
Armenia, Pontus, Thrace, Spain, Britons - 2 provinces each
Scipio, Egypt, Rebels - 1 province each.

In the second and third options, 49 and 44 provinces are given to the rebels, which allows you to increase the total life expectancy of all factions.
If in the original game, by the middle of the 250s BC, usually three factions no longer exist, then in these variants, the first faction dies closer to the beginning of the 240s BC.

It is also possible to control the time of the onset of the reform of Gaius Marius, when playing for the Roman factions.

Additionally, there are files that will allow the Senate of Rome to build all nine Roman temples, the Parthians - added the temple of Mithras, and also fix the lack of text localization in some buildings.

I enclose for your attention a brief video review of the provinces I added.Youtube.com

English subtitles have been added to my video.

Can't get the mod to open, it loops back to the laoding screen, and when I exit it gives me the error:'script error in data/world/maps/campaign/big_empire /descr_strat.txt at line 4854, column 12. You have chosen an invalid tile(91, 142) for the settlement of Vicus Jutes. It will mean not being able to reach this settlement and is a bug. For now we'll ignore it'. - but it means I can't play, and I haven't moved it's location, I can't move it I don't have the software for that, please help!

I deleted the settlement in the file to see if that did anything, and then it just gave me the same error for Tribus_Picti!

Thank you for your comment, there were indeed such errors earlier, but they were fixed with the latest patch.
Try downloading the mod again and install it into the game with the replacement of all files.
It should work correctly without any bugs.
If possible, unsubscribe, it helped or not.

-Fixed a bug with artifacts near the Red Sea.
-Also fixed three minor bugs.
-Added possession maps to those factions who did not have them. (Armenia, Dacia, Scythia, Spain, Thrace, Numidia, Senate of Rome, Macedonia, Pontus.)
The maps were made based on their vanilla possessions. (found this more neutral and appropriate)
-Added a description of the faction for Armenia, Dacia, Scythia, Spain, Thrace (taken from Rome Remaster),
as well as for Numidia (partially added by himself) and the Senate of Rome. (written in full by me)

To add them, the file lookup_campaign_descriptions you need to throw in the folder "data", with the replacement of the file.
(only before that, it is advisable to make backups of the files being replaced), and the file "campaign_descriptions" - text
you should throw at the path data/text, then delete the original file "campaign_descriptions" and rename the new file
"campaign_descriptions" - text, in "campaign_descriptions".

When you upgrade, you must replace the big_empire_regions_and_settlement_names file because it has also been edited.

Updated mod, you can download in the header of the theme. (both versions on Google Drive have been updated)

ps I want to express special thanks to Kamrad DinarMayor, for his help with the advice - how to make it easier to make maps of the possessions of factions.

Hello, nice mod. Installed following the instructions pasting the folder on campaign and the province name to data\text but I launch the campaign I stand there merely as an spectator, the AI controlling all factions including the one I selected 'Carthage'. Tried with the Julii and the Senate but same result. Never encountered this problem on TW, anyone have a guess? Thanks

Everything works fine for me, I just checked. What version of Rome Total War do you have? Should be 1.5. Is the game clean or with mods installed?
It would be nice to show me screenshots. where the files are located or on the TWC forum, or on the Imperial forum, unless of course you have such an opportunity.

Thanks for the compliments!
I had to work a little to adapt my mini-mod to English.
