Rising Sun is a mod for Mount & Blade: Warband based on the Gekokujo mod, New Update 2022 released. Set during the late Bakumatsu and Boshin War periods of Japan (1866 - 1869). Fight to restore the Imperial Court or retain the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Despite the lack of time I have for the mod, it seems all the non-related work has payed off. I was able to somewhat easily, but tediously remodel and re-texture multiple meshes due to the things I've learned, as well as the usual troop and item editing that I usually do with updates. So in a nutshell, although I can't work on the mod much, I am acquiring the skills I always wished I had at the beginning of the mod in other time.
I got some time to work on the mod and immediately saw the Enfield model and new I can now do better so I'll improve all content that needs it as well as the usually faction and npc edits as usual.

Hmm, the barrel, the bands, and the percussion lock ought to be black though or more dark in any case if I'm allowed to criticize. Also the gunstock should maybe be a bit more bright. Like this: Nazarian.no
