Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

I wonder if the SWR will include the MI-28 because I read the general profile and the Mi-24 hind will only belong to the rapid deployment general.

Which chopper for who is actually not all that certain, as we were planning to include the Ka-52 for someone as well. The Mi-28 Havoc will probably be exclusive to the Russian Ballistics General.

Uh, you must have a sparse understanding of the English language. I answered his question (well, it's more of a comment), which was: "I wonder if the SWR will include the MI-28". To which I replied in my comment: "The Mi-28 Havoc will probably be exclusive to the Russian Ballistics General".

I stressed uncertainty beforehand because I don't like to give people the wrong impression as in the future it may be announced that some chopper's been scrapped or whatever.

Interesting, another Russian dual-rotor copter, these seem to be increasing in popularity for the USSR. Moving onto the model, unusually I find the texture is better than the model itself. I'm not quite sure what it is, but something doesn't add up. I think it’s to do with the spacing between the two rotors, or it may just be because of the unorthodox design. Either way, the texture is very good, my only complaint being the slight blurring on the rear tail fin.

It's also nice to see you didn't add a tail rotor, the whole point of a dual rotor design of course being to nullify the torque effect produced by the rotors, rendering a tail rotor redundant.

Overall, the model is by no-means poor, and the texture defiantly pushes its quality upwards. My last point is to do with the rockets. I assume they are unguided and act similarly to vanilla Zero Hour's Comanche rocket pods, splashing the ground with rockets. But their angle confuses me. Unless they are multi-purpose rockets (ie, anti-air too (?)) an optimum angle would be somewhat less (ie, towards the ground) than what they currently are. Unless of course they are designed to drop down on their targets, in which case this design would work perfectly well.

I hope you do realize that this is a real chopper, we didn't design it or anything. Also, this is another retextured model as well, mainly because we wanted the old Ka-50 to have the same color scheme as the Hind.

I mean that you dont even knew how it is with the Russian helicopters. On the start "Werewolf" was supposed to be for all, Hind and "Blackshark" (essentially the same like "Werewolf") in Orlov's service and Havoc in Aleksandr's. Now you say that Havoc will be Zhukov's, Hind will remain Orlov's... but I remember that YOU said time ago that Havoc will be for all and Hind and Blackshark/Werewolf will be Orlov's... you really dont knew how it is with Havoc and Werewolf, and I dont mean you as NergiZed, but entire RotR.

Seriously Metallic, just **** off.
I'm getting tired of your antics, always attempting to undermine staff of a mod that you persistenly follow, but insist on slagging off.

Why?
Can't you just enjoy a free mod rather than moan about it?

I DON'T SEE A NEED FOR BOTH KA-52 AND KA-50 BE PRESENT IN THE GAME. I THINK ONE OF THEM IS ENOUGH SINCE THEY'RE VERY SIMILAR TO EACH ONE.

Description

The Werewolf lives up to its name. It is a deadly, agile and a savage predator. It fires its missiles at the juiciest prey and then lays down a rain of high caliber lead across the field massacring enemy infantry and just as it gracefully advances, it backs away when satisfied, disappearing into the night.
