I hope that Russian helis will be improved in their health and damage. It's too weak now. KA50 goes down too easily, in the real life it's powerful assault helicopter, and it has stronger armor than apache has. And his cannon does wery miserable damage.
It'll be also a good idea to make an analogue of countermeasures for Russian airforce, smth like traps for rockets.
Hello everyone, this idea has been allready mentioned here but nobody answered: will russian helicopters get countermeasures ( because in reality they have). Russian helis are rather expensiv but they dont even have a chance to avoid a poor rocket.
And about igla pods for hinds...well he can destroy paladin tank with few rockets so it is very strange when he wastes dozens of his AA rockets to hit down a plane. I think if they are added they must do their job. will this situation be changed in next versions?

I belive it's called balance. If the igla pods would be to powerfull why would anyone build fighter planes, or according to the new additions, chose to unlock the airfield. The hind is already a monster of the skies. More damage would just make it the ultimate unit, and make alot of other units redudant.
I THINK THAT WHAT COMERADESTALIN SUGGESTED (OR ORDERED, HE'S STALIN, MAN!) THAT DIFFERENT ROCKETS SHOULD BE USED FOR DIFFERENT TARGETS, MEANING THAT IF HIND USED HIS IGLA PODS ON AN AIRCRAFT, IT SHOULD HAVE RETAIN SOME MISSILES FOR GROUND ATTACKS AND VICE VERSA.
I'm not aware of any plans to add countermeasures to Russian planes or changing Igla pods. However, we'll change anything that we deem necessary for the sake of balance, but I doubt we'll make the Hind any more powerful than it already is.

This works great for someone like myself, I only built the Russian airfield because of the choppers. I liked those bombers for the Russians, but until GLA is back they're a little useless for me.
I guess when GLA is back they will be useless at all. No power plants, AA is always in action, Quad Cannons, I hope, still remain as aircraft's nightmare, that's why I'm sure that return of GLA predicts to all aircraft severe times...

I THINK THE PRICE FOR RUSSIAN BIRDS ALREADY BRINGS THE BALANCE TO THE POWER. HOW COME THAT FROGFOOTS & HINDS ARE MORE THAN $2000? I THINK THAT MANY PLAYERS DON'T USE HINDS /MAY BE EVEN HAVOCS/ MUCH, BECAUSE ITS POWER DOESN'T JUSTIFY THE PRICE.

I discovered that actually Chinese helis are much more stronger that their Russian counterparts. Like Chinese helis' cannon seemed much more effective than rockets because they're strong and don't have a need to rearm.
Agree, russian Airforces is weak and over expensive. Must be more armored, fire-powered and have a Anti-AA countermeasures or this will be just an unusable units (weak & expensive). In real life our air forces inexpensive and really strong.
