Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
Coal power plants are the main source of power for
all Russian bases. Coal is cheap to come by and
setup is effective enough for any beginning
operation. However when the battle campaigns last
longer than expected, Russian generals are urged
to expand the Power-plants output for an increase
of power. This upgrade will add secondary
equipment below and secondary set of towers for
exhaust.
So no anti-matter tech for the Russians?
We scraped the Anti Matter theme from the Russians since it was deemed far to high tech and realistically it would be impossible if not dangerous to actually have those type of power-plants laying around.
and if it blew up the hol base b dead it go booooooom, big time boom and all b dead
Actually I disagree, using a positron-electron reaction chamber would be a relatively simple process that will become far more common once fusion is invented, you could stick your hand in the chamber and not feel a thing other then not be statically charged, the only problem is the expensive parts required to create super semiconductors to feed enough electrons into the reaction.
ye2berny rabak ya 5aaaai
It's good that you scrapped the anti-matter reactor, it was far too futuristic. But I think you should instead give the Russian faction a gas plant perhaps instead of coil.
A gas plant wouls sound more realistic.
Yes it would, since Russia has tons of gas
They have tons of coal too, and coal doesn't explode when you're trying to move it to a front-line base.
Cool.
Global Warming with COALL!
brought to you by the Soviets of Russia.
Invun
hmm hmm I know the Russians (and Americans) as THE nuke-force.. Coal-electricity? maybe, the PERESTROJKA threw the russians back a century xD
Oil or gas power plant will look better. Coal power plants are quite unique buildings for modern Russia. Mazut or schists are also the variants.
What!? Coal power plant?? We have a nuclear power plants, any other power plants, but coal.... nooo, this type used in first half of 20th century.
ööö....where is the Tesla Reactor?
