Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The MSTA-S has a long range 152mm cannon which can be armed with standard high-explosive (HE) shells. It can also be upgraded to the Koalition standard with twin cannons, doubling its effective firepower.
shoupld put some cammo netting over to match the terrain
you should add a machine gun on top for anti infantry purposes
loks like a box O.o'
the turret looks like a box, but train masses of these things equipped with the koalition gun system and the enemy is up for one hell of a ride.
"Loks like a box O.o' " yes
i've played and fought these things. i say they need thier range reduced. they can fire farther then any other artillery units and do heavy damage. i think it's abit uber and hard to kill. i've had thes things hit my front line from half-eay across the map...
the russians are an above avrage faction with an above avrage pricetag, dont complain, read what the ppl say
NO! i think it is better keep its range, a problem with most generals mods is that artilhery have always a small range, i like of long and medium range artilheries. SW hasve a lack in long range artilheries, their range is too small
in the storyline russia are struggling but in the battles they pwn all
So when do we get our Guided shells?
whats up man? you don't need to post hate-comments against this mod. if you don't like it - ignore it. and actually: there is no source that says krasnopol is nuclear. so keep quiet and look things up before you mock others up.
You're correct; the Krasnopol is a laser-guided shell which tracks objects designated by a third-party observer with LOS to the target. As this description was both out of date and written by someone else without the knowledge of the system specifics I have removed it.
Also, Kingsjester is correct; the Krasnopol is not nuclear. Why the hell would you need a laser-guided nuke? You would (a) kill the observer and (b) wipe the target area off the face of the earth whether or not it was a dozen or few metres off the target.
The ability has been scrapped anyway, so the point is moot.
is there still the koalitsija upgrade?
Yes, definitely. A must for any player who uses these with any frequency - it turns it into probably the most powerful artillery unit in the game in terms of actual effective damage output!
