Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
This heavy 20mm machine gun emplacement is the basic GLA defence structure and the bane of all infantry. Once upgraded with AP Bullets, it can also deal noticeable damage to light vehicles and air units. Like all GLA defences, it can be upgraded to either become stealthed or heavily fortified.

There's a mistake in the description: The DShK fires 12.7mm bullets, not 20mm.

This certainly has a GLA feel to it. Reminds me of a story from the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in which a machine gun nest on top of a mountain held off Hind after Hind just by shooting at the main rotor. The Soviets never figured out that the MG nest was higher than their helos were flying.
i just want this mod beacause of the super awesome new gla, additions the russians and europeans are secondary assets wich are nice to have it in an all in one awesome swr productions pack!

Finally a decent anit-infantry defense for the GLA. The AA on this thing is good bonus too.
