Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

I wonder how meaty the chain gun sounds. I hope it will match how great this thing looks.

"Do note however that both the Starlifter and the Little Bird are still designed to be an optional addition to US tactics rather than their keystone, which is why you'll have to unlock them at Rank 1 if you wish to emphasise rapid airborne mobility in your gameplay. "

Are they unlocked together or separated, like the Stealth Fighter and the Paladin in the vanilla Generals? I suppose they get unlocked together, but anyway, can't hurt to ask...

Skipping the topic a little bit, do you have any plans for a vehicle transport version of the Hunchback? I know you mentioned that it would be OP for the Russians to be able to airlift their vehicles and etc. But it would be interesting if each faction had some transport heli that could carry vehicles, and the GLA Gazelle could have 2 seat like the little bird, it would be fun and it wouldn't destroy the "GLA uses tunnels..."(imagine sneak a jarmen Kell into the enemy base like that?)

I think it would be cool if that could happen, but if I recall correctly, they add units that fit into the doctrine of each faction, not on a "X faction has Y unit, so the other factions also should get a version of Y," because it would mean less variety overall.

As of 1.85, there will be a new Rank 1 unlock called 'Air Mobility' which gives you both the Little Bird and the Starlifter, the idea being that these two add light/fast and heavy/slow transport capabilities to the medium capabilities of your default Ospreys if you wish to use them. There won't be any Gens/ZH style unlocks that literally only give you a single new tech asset.

AH-6 has a 5-blade rotor,isn't it?
I wish I could see a 5-blade rotor just because it looks awesome rather than a 4-blade one

Its already in the game, just not used. So is a version of the Aurora bomber, although it is in need of a re-skin.

Description

Surprise! Even though its re-inclusion was originally planned for 2.0, the AH-6 Little Bird will be making a comeback in the upcoming version 1.85. It retains its amazing agility, two transport slots for infantry units as well as its signature dual M134 Miniguns which can be supplemented with Hydra rocket pods via upgrade. Do note however that both the Starlifter and the Little Bird are still designed to be an optional addition to US tactics rather than their keystone, which is why you'll have to unlock them at Rank 1 if you wish to emphasise rapid airborne mobility in your gameplay.
