I like it. it has the look of a very upscaled bunker from the base game to it

That was kind of the thought process. In fact, all the Mandalorian buildings are going to look like a bunker of some kind. The idea being that every structure needs to be a defensible position... No posh offices and officer quarters.

If it's possible, I actually want to make all the Mandalorian structures function like bunkers, where infantry can actually garrison them and fire from specific points.

That reminds me of the Imperial Guard base buildings from the first DoW. Nice idea.

It is still somewhat visible that you used the lower part of the Consortium HQ as a base, but this has a totally different feeling to it.

Looks like it could survive a few bombing runs.

Exactly my inspiration. The Imperial Guard are so great and i love Dark Crusade.

And yes, I used a modified lower half. Partly this saves time but also, the Consortium building do just look kinda cool, for the most part.

Surprised you didn't take inspiration from the Dxun base in TSL.

I had thought about taking inspiration from KotOR but I ultimately decided to limit the influence from those games and Old Republic lore in general. The reason being that those events were over 2000 years ago and the Dxun fort was in ruins even at that time. It just seems that things should have...evolved since then, you know?

It deffo is possible. AOTR does it and works very well. Would the imps and NR get this feature or is it mando exclusive ?

Mando only. Other factions might have forward bases like this, lore wise...but gameplay wise they will be more traditional structures.

I just thought for these well, theyre Mandalorians. EVERY base is a forward base. Lol

Yes. There is actually only one small office in the center of the building here. The rest of it is durasteel armor and 75 layers of magnetically sealed blast doors. Sun Crusher please... Come at me.

Ah, there command must be run by Jamaican bureaucrats. I'll wager that office is so efficient it only needs to be run by a single Australian man

Lol yeah, its disgustingly powerful. Its so OP that most star wars fans just hate it because it's just silly/ridiculous. That combined with the fact that it looks terrible... Whatever artist designed it...just no.

Thanks! I want Mando structures to look industrial/militaristic. The steam pipes or smoke stacks just help give it that feel IMO.

To be honest at first I thought it was lunching cruise missiles. Had me thinking oh yes strike them while they land... Still cool though.
