The Empire has fallen and a New Republic is born out of the conflict. But in the ashes of civil war, yet another life stirs...
An aging shuttle design, the Lambda was originally conceived later in the Clone Wars but saw widespread use by the Empire during the Civil War era. Lack of funds and dwindling shipyards has pressed the old design into use beyond it's forecast service period but all the same, it's ample defensive armament is enough to deter most snubfighter pilots from attempting a one-on-one engagement.
Side note... Damn the ads that have been added to the screenshot window are annoying as F***! Also, the "HD View" button no longer shows...HD? Lol ok... /rant.
It is some mighty ********, along with the 25 second ad I had to suffer in order to watch a video on here.
Oh yeah, they did add those a while back and they are indeed annoying. But holy hell, the add in the screenshot window takes up a ton of space and it pops up EVERY time you click to a new screenshot. It's like...ok, I am NOT buying whatever you're selling now just because you are annoying the hell out of me.
I mean, I love you Moddb but damn...
Seems like my adblocker has dealt with those.
What? Adds? What's that now? Can't hear you over the sound of my addblock. Perhaps if people didn't make the adds so intrusive people wouldn't keep using it. That goes for Youtube, twitch, moddb, you name it.
Really nice redo of the original, making the head a bit smaller helped to bring out the rest of the body more. 9/10 would fly again.
Lol. Thank you
I like this :p
The description left me wondering, is it going to be slightly stronger than the vanilla Lambda? Great visual upgrade though, it looks great.
Yes, much more powerful. And it will fly like a fighter...not a frigate (albeit, a slow fighter).
Looks like it's straight out of a the films.
Sooooooooooooo much better than the original! Good job! :)
Thank you both
It's almost funny that the original looks, at a real quick glance, very similar to yours. Like it had promise, hope.
And then you come along, add some small details here, sharpen some other details there, alter the model somewhere else, and viola! A moment of study and you see that you've crafted the promise the original had.
Great praise :) Thank you.
I just love how you tweak a few things and make the texture better, not even changing it to something else, and it looks like it's from a game in 2014, not way back in the day. If vanilla EaW looked like this...mods would have been a lot longer in coming I think.
