Description
Commission based on fan design. Small, stealth TIE capable of cloak but far superior offensively to the TIE Phantom. Think F-117 vs F-22...
Space map in the background will be featured in RotM as the map for Rata Nebula. This far-flung nebula is within Chiss space in the Unknown Regions. The Chiss take advantage of the remote location and sensor-disrupting nature of the nebula to obscure top-secret training facilities located on the many planetoids scattered within.

Looks more like an updated Vulture droid fighter with a pilot than a TIE series.(looking from front profile bottom right pic) The distinctive ball cockpit and Twin Ion Engine array are missing. Nice alternate for the Empire to get away from the TIE series.(Howlrunner comes to mind) Good design though can't be a TIE series without the engine array.
TIE simply stands for "twin ion engine". Ion engines comes in many varieties in Star Wars. For example, Star Destroyers also use them. Totally within the realm of possibility for larger engines like this to also be ion drives. As for the cockpit, there are also several TIE designs which don't have the iconic ball. The TIE Phantom comes to mind, as well as the TIE Reaper from Canon (the Scariff troop transport).
