Nice! Really like the men at arms.

I'm quite happy how they turned out. In game they appear as medium infantry, meaning that although they are slower and more expensive than normal light infantry, they are better armoured, have more attack, as well as a damage bonus against other foot units. The Lesser Noblemen (the mail clad soldiers behind them) precede them and the Doppelsoldner (the armoured men in front of them) replace them in the Imperial Age.

I'm probably thinking of the Prussians, but weren't the infantry and cavalry of the HRE less colorful?

Those colourful units there are Landsknechts, which were widely used by the HRE as well as other European nations during the late medieval period and historically were very flamboyant, so I'd say that they are accurate.

Finally found the perfect name for the Palatinate Guard which sounded a bit off to my ears: Ronriseofkings.wikia.com

From what I read, Burgmaenner were the original retainers for castles before Landsknechte. These dudes were basically retainers of a castle, so "Palatinate Burgmann" can be taken to mean "a retainer for an Imperial castle." By the early modern period, Burgmaenner were being replaced by Landsknechte instead.

Like the style , of the unit mixes , you know how they all don't look the same , take your arquebuisers for example , they have landschneckts but they also have imperialist infantry with them :D . P.S. the rise of kings 1.1 says file is corrupt each time I download , do you have another link for 1.1 ?

I agree that it would be great having a mod including the 30 year's war, but unit slots are limited so Rise of Kings simply doesn't have enough space to extend that far.

If I ever complete the series of ancient era total conversion mods I'm working on, I would like to work on a mod covering the 16th to 19th centuries.

I adore the unit to the upper left of the Doppelsodners, they have an iconic medieval look.
