Soo cracked steam version with the eternal expansion dlc, will that now work?

Mod Manager only accommodates the Steam version but theoretically it should work with any functional, up to date copy of Supreme Commander 2. We'll only support the Steam version with this, of course.

Hello,

I just downloaded this mod manager so that I could give it a try. However, it asks me to set an installation directory at start-up.

Should I set it to the game's install directory or another directory? The description did not state what it should be.

Anyway, awesome work!

Hello,

Do you have the game installed through Steam? If not then it will want you to choose the Supreme Commander 2 installation directory. The folder you choose should have the the "bin" folder within it.

For example, if you're game's exe was located at:
D:\games\Supreme Commander 2\bin\SupremeCommander2.exe

You should choose as the installation directory:
D:\games\Supreme Commander 2

Yes, I have a legitimate Steam install of the game. I chose C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Supreme Commander 2, but then I get a "Jquery" related error.

I have Net Framework 4.5.1 installed.

Here is a screenshot of the error:

EDIT: Before the error occurred, the manager said it was getting a hash for the gamedata folder within the directory that I specified.

In the Mod Manager folder there should be a text filed named "SC2ModManager.txt", could you PM that to me by chance?

Getting this error message:

The mod Revamp Expansion Mod (RVE) cannot be installed for the following reasons:

Dependency missing: mithy.modsupportminimod with file hash of 85C5E21C473FA9EB237375D589041B C002C9F5E6A946580FC8ECCEBBDCE02CB8

Does the game start with no mods loaded? try verifying your game files with steam.

In addition to what OverRated posted, check to make sure in Task Manager that there aren't multiple running copies of supreme commander 2. Note that launching the game through Steam and through Mod Manager will do the same thing but launching it through Steam may display more verbose error messages, if there are any.

As the interface is skinned it uses components from IE9 .

The application uses IE's rendering engine to produce what you see on screen - unfortunately since IE8 is not particularly accommodating with design standards you'll have a host of issues using anything less than IE9. Note that you don't actually open IE... it just needs to be installed.

What OS and bit size? have u installed .NET Framework 4.5 and updated your Internet Explorer to version 9 this will only apply to windows 7 users as both these ship with windows 8 and 10.

So I have a really strange problem here. So When I open the application and set the directory and such i cannot click anything. Any of the buttons like "Add Mod" or "Remove Mod" do not do anything when I click them. i ran it with administrator and made sure I had the right framework. I do not understand why the app is not working. Please help as it is getting quite frustrating.

This is likely a result of Internet Explorer's script related security settings. If you click START > type 'inetcpl.cpl' (without quotes) and press enter and go to the Security tab, what is the slider set to for Internet and Local intranet?

It was on high. I think i had it on that because internet explorer was messing with me one day. Im guessing it should be set to default?

LRUK take the latest dump file that should have been created on your desktop and open it up - inside you will find a text file named something similar to SC2MM_crash_log_2016_02_01_20_42_42.log

Please PM me the contents of that log file (not here but in a private message) and ill work with you. Thanks!
