This mod is currently focused on fixing bugs and balancing small units and UI changes, larger unit updates, more units and potentially more experimentals will come soon.

like me and other players did mention before, its way to slow both in moving and turning and due to its weapon range its currently its weak and fragile,
beside the whole point of a dragon is being mobile and agile right?
it would be great to make him more agile and mobile even if a little fire power sacrifice is needed, last time we did mention it u did told me to wait for beta 1.1 but i see nothing here :/

the dragon is a close range XP like the rex is and its also stronger and has more damage than any other cybran xp which is why its slow, other players have said nothing about it so it wont be changed.

i have already a karma in comment if u look at past comments some other ppl did agree with me too,
in my humble opinion an mobile dragon would be better than high damage super slow dragon, making it just like rex is a waste of such beautiful Model, the model have far more gameplay potential.
but its ur game how ever u feel better! isnt there anyway for me to edit the dragon personally for my personal usage?

a few people isn't enough for me to care at this point sorry to say, feel free to change it on your own, the unit is meant to be slow having a fast and weak T5 is pointless mite as well be a T4.

I agree with a fast and week T5 being pointless but ... the dragon is just a walking wall of death right now ... and that is not a dragon . dragon's are rampaging forces of nature not a slow moving reaper just savoring the kill cause it knows you can't stop it I mean seriously I play turtle all the time and I gotta tell you when I see that thing coming I don't see a dragon I see Death just taking a walk down my drive way casually shrugging off walls and walls of guns and tearing trough layers of every type of shield I could fit there is just no stopping that thing once some one gets it 5 games me and my cousin played and he even waited for me to build my perfect defense 3 different maps that thing solo's my base every time just soaking up damage I mean really it feels more like if death and godzilla had a kid than a dragon I mean it can't even fly and I know there are dragons that don't fly but ... it's just doesn't feel like a dragon to me if it doesn't fly sorry to rant like this but I wanted to speak my mind and thanks for reading all this

Its a T5 not a game ender plus the game doesn't support land units that fly only jumpjet, the dragon was balanced for the amount of weapons it has and the type of weapons, all good making it faster and dropping its damage down, it was made to take on other T5 units and to be a heavy hitter not a fast moving unit with **** loads of weapon fire to attack land units.

Hello,

When I tried to open the .rar file, 7-zip gave me an error:

"Can not open file "File directory stuff\RVE_Revamp_Expansion_Mod_2.0_B1.1_P2.rar" as archive."

Re-downloading the file did not solve the issue.
EDIT: Could the dots in the file name be causing the issue?

Never mind, I just had an outdated version of 7-zip. Updating it solved the issue.

Hey OverRated do u know what it means when I can't open the file. Downloading the file went fine except when i open the file it gives me this 'The archive is either in an unknown format or damaged.' Can you help me with this problem if u can?

There are a few issues I am having and some critiques for what I am seeing when playing a casual game in Skirmish.
1) The energy producing structures aren't producing enough, most games I play I am desperately trying to scrape together energy, while sitting on a huge stockpile of Mass. I think that either the energy costs should be decreased across the board for all structures, especially the energy producers, or the energy producer output is ramped up. It seems that the Cybran Faction has the easiest time gathering resources while I played as them, while the UEF and Illuminate have a harder time getting things in order, the Illuminate more so then the UEF.
2) This may be a problem with my computer not able to handle it, but the game slows to an absolute crawl at about an hour in, due to how many units are on the map, especially with how the AI produces them. The game could be moving at 4 seconds IRL to 1 second IG.
3) The AI difficulty seems to be absurd, I remember during one match when playing against a Cybran commander that by the 30 minute mark he was able to send multiple scroxas and T3 units at me and by the 1:30 or so mark he had at least ten of each major experimental sitting in the ruins of my base while I desperately tried to build a floating base as an Illuminate with Heavy Arty Fire hitting my shields. Yes he did have fire bases all over the map, primarily where mass deposits were, I believe normal turtle was on for the AI, and there was a 20 minute rush timer, but that was still utterly absurd the level resource and unit production the AI was displaying.
4) The shields seem a little to strong, especially when packed together, to the point that any time I would try to assault a firebase, not the main one even, that I would need at minimum to use an experimental to crack open the base, otherwise either the artillery fire was worthless and simply drained my energy or an army of factory units would simply be destroyed by the static defenses.
5) I keep having crashes and the "SC2 has stopped working" midway through the match, at about the hour to 1:30 minute mark occasionally.
6) I tried going onto the Campaign menu a few weeks back, and if I remember correctly the Game crashed with the "SC2 has stopped working" when I tried to enter the campaign, or I did get in the campaign menu and it crashed when I tried to play said campaign, the first UEF mission in particular.
7) Something needs to be done to the Archangel and Combat Drone Experimental in Illuminate, they are too slow, and lack decent fire power to be effective. The Uriel was all around utterly disappointing and a waste of time and resources to build, a slow, easy to kill, and hard to be killed by experimental, major works needs to be done, like increasing its speed and decreasing resource and time for building it, or increasing its health and rate of fire, or increasing its range and damage. The Andromeda struggled fight its way through a section of T1, T2, and T3 Cybran shields when I used it in a skirmish match. In addition it was not good at handling crowds whatsoever, though this may be due the fact the crowd was filled with mobile shields. It also seems to have a hard time recognizing move commands, and does not go where you order it to go. The Andromeda could use a range and rate of fire boost, with maybe a few additional weapons, and a slightly faster move speed.
I hope that whoever works on this mod sees this comment and can use what I wrote to help further this awesome mod.
I will post more problems as a I run into them, and if this is not the best place to put them, then can someone inform as to where the best place would be?

Most of these issues are from not understanding how to play high mass low energy means you should be building more power gens to balance your ECO out, don't use more than 2 AI if your playing with high unit caps or your CPU speeds is crappy, if the game is crashing then your probably putting the game under to much stress it was never to handle unit caps this size, also could be related to the UI a setting will be added to disable it, the mod DOES NOT SUPPORT CAMPAIGN END OF STORY, so dont bother trying.

Also try using balanced AI and let me know if its still crashing.

For the life of me I can not upgrade or build new mass T2 or T3 mass extractors, I have unlocked both in research tree in a few games now with UEF but the option to upgrade or build new mass extractors is not there, they are just T1 only and clicking them does not give me an upgrade option in the far lower left of the screen. What am I missing here?

They automatically upgrade now hence why the construction options were removed. Just look at your mass income when getting the research unlock and you'll see.

This is such a good mod. Good work!

Also for anyone thinking. The Upgrades for the Mass Extractors auto affect them. Look at how much they produce before and after the research.

I'm taking an ugly IA easy beating.
Can someone tell me you tube videos? Multiplayer or even VS AI.
Is there any human being able to beat IA hard of this mod? I did not see any video you tube vs IA ...
In the Supcom 2 easy gain of medium AI and little of work I gain from hard IA, but here I have no idea what to do, this is a new game.

Hello ! First I want to thanks you for your amazing work !
But I have an AI problem : it send me only small unit and mostly air units. It doesn't build any experimentals, it doesn't evolve correctly. Is it a bad installation of the mod on my side ? I have uninstall the game and reinstall but the AI is still dumb :/
Maybe I have to change the difficulty ( I have chosen normal difficulty) on the map 3 vs 1
and I have found a lot of regression for example : The update system of the mass extractor don't work ( before I can clic on a button to upgrade them)
And I can't build T2 and T3 engineer, it is weird.
I think I miss something for the new version of the mod installation because I have read all the comments and others peoples have no problemn with the AI !
Can anyone help me ?

As always-amazing mod! Cybran dragon is balanced hybrid of Eva-01 and Mechagodzilla-3, or at least looks like so. Actually, the only thing I would like to see in this mod is Godzilla, if copyright/engine allows.

Hey how can we get enders? me and a friend tried going against a cybran cheating AI and added more build speed to it. it started taking out a bunch of named expirementals and they did much more damage than expected. we cant find a way of unlocking them can you help us find a way of getting them for us?

i have to agree with arimansiah on the dragon's speed. it is merely a wall of death that isnt even as effective as it looks. against non-experimentals sure. a small group of cheaper experimentals can bum rush it. the only dragons i know of that are slow at all are big and fat in almost every way. if they arent fat, they are fast as **** or at least faster than most. this thing looks like its straight out of armored core, and NOTHING in armored core is slow. if this thing had weapons jutting out from under every scale and joint on its body, id understand its speed, but it does NOT.

every time i look at it, i do not see a dragon on a rampage. i see a dragon chained down by the dev of a mod who is too afraid that using it properly will unbalance the game.

but if you dont want to use it properly, why even have it? at this point its just a bulldozer dressed up like a sports car.

it looks even too fast for an experimental. as a hovering t3 unit shooting around the battlefield faster than any t3, sure.

but oh no, aerodynamic wings and afterburners do not make things fly. it is their blocky, hundred ton armor plates, massive crawler tank tracks and 800mm main guns that make experimentals fly in the revamp mod.

i doubt anyone is even reading this comment section.

just watch, the dev will home in on this comment like a homeless man to a nice couch.

Had lots of fun with a previous version, had to work hard to get a solid economy going and build lots of T5 but yesterday i updated to latest version and now it just feels broken.

Takes 15 minutes to get a decent economy, after 25 minutes i basically have an unlimited supply of mass and energy.
Currently 1 hour into a game and have 1687562 mass and 27170164 energy.

Changing all engineers to tier 3 and making them dirt cheap and insanely quick to build was a mistake.
