Restored AI attacks and behavior tweaks
Full VersionRestores some unused or barely used attacks and behavior patterns for enemies.
1. This compilation contains 2 Mods Variations:
- Original Mod, which restores disabled enemy attacks and increases rare/restores scripted behavior
- Rebalanced version of Original Mod with minor tweaks (recommended - main version).
2. Examples of behavior and attacks: running Zombies, slow Zombie attack, Imp jumping attack, Cacodemon telecinetic magnet attack, Baron of Hell 2 fireballs and other minor variations. Increased taunt chance for Imp, Cacodemon, Mancubus.
Mod requires DooMModLoader (https://github.com/jfmherokiller/DOOMExtract/releases/tag/1.8). Information about using Mods without it could be found on "Doom2016Mods" Reddit or in Modding Discord here: Discord.gg.
Due to 11.04.24 update for Doom 2016 you need now to launch ModLoader and then game. LegacyMod or Doom Launcher can't be used for now.
Alternatively, you can downgrade your Doom version, so everything will work.

- winkey + R, then enter
Nav
- entered this into the steam console:
download_depot 379720 379721 2206249600939156631
- once it's done, i went to
Steam\SteamApps\content\app_379720\depot_379721
and copied everything into my game's install (you can make backup of these files just in case)
Update 25.03.2024
- Decreased loud sounds from zombies in rebalanced vversion
- Increased taunt chance for Imps/Cacodemon upon hitting player. Added covering fire for Soldiers/Mancubus with no detected result.
