Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
With the addition of the corporate Sector Authority in 1.4: A Call to Arms as a neutral faction, we're also giving them the invincible-class heavy cruiser to buster their defense against any ambitious republic or CIS commander looking to take over their sector.

now if it didn't have that cargo ship slammed into the front of the Bridge it'd look nice
IMO, it looks better with the extension.
I agree it does work better with it.
But it's less accurate
fair, but when there are only a few images to go off of in the first place, I think taking creative liberties are okay.
I'm a little curious. Since you're bringing in the Invincible Heavy Cruiser, will you also be bringing in other iconic ships, such as the Neutron Star Cruiser, Gladiator Star Destroyer or Praetor Battle Cruiser? Those ships were around during the last few months of the Clone Wars. There's also the Tector Star Destroyer
Neutron Star Cruiser is a confirmed addition, the same as the Gladiator. I think we'll avoid the praetor and the Tector, as the operator is a design the team doesn't like and we currently don't see a need for the tector.

What is the difference between this model and the free release from EAWX ?
Did you reduce the amount of poly or whatever ?
EaWx created their own model. This one was created by Kharak.
What happen to this one Media.moddb.com
When deciding which model to use. A lot of the replacement models for our other assets have also been textured by kharak, and so we believed it'd be best to stick with that visual consistency.
Most of our assets from that time and earlier are being replaced. Almost 90% of the mod is being updated.
