Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

Nice new starship...who can name it? :)
I believe that its called a Arquitens-class light cruiser.
Very good
You can spoil it now. :D
Lol
This has already benn revealed under features, anyway good job, love that thing!
Inside joke. It was a hidden vehicle on Killer's profile page before being announced for this update
I love that ship :) It's like a mix between a Venator and corvette!
Warb null FTW
this ship is looking like small version of venator
it looks more like a smaller version of the venator class Star Destroyer Mark 2
Starwars-exodus.wikia.com
thats a point :)
that is the Legacy Class Star Destroyer
Nice glowing blue engines!
I like this ship overall, it seems like a sleeker, more rugged version of the DP20. Should make short work of those Hammers and droid fighters. For every new design I'd like to see the CW series use more ships like the Carrack, Dreadnought, and Victory-1. I wonder how often Season 4 will show Z-95s and Y-Wings
even though the mandator used in this mod is canon
i like this one better :P
Starwars-exodus.wikia.com
well that one was used after the clone wars
I alway thought it was a varient of the Acclamator Class because it looks like an Acclamator with huge engines besides it should make a good capital ship escort for Venators or Victory Class ships Still awsome though
I to
what would the Arquitens match be in terms of Sep ships e.g. Dreadnaught and Munificent have similar roles
I would think the recucant destroyer
There's a problem with that, the arquitens in it's main appearance in the TCW series was much smaller than the recusant general grievous had and was easily pwned by it when it tried to dock. I'd say it could go against the droid carrier since that's the weakest non corvette or fighter the cis has.
Wow I just realized i sounded like the biggest geek/douche ever in that comment...
My question however was about the role not the armament/shields
Pretty cool looking... For a republic ship anyway...
The role of the aquatens would be a medium-heavy armoured fast atack cruiser. Sort of fast moving light artilery. i belive it would be more of a suport ship compared to the consaular cruiser or the carrack, which are both fast attack ships.
A lot of the smaller Republic ships are designed on the fast-attack idea, this was mainly to capitalise on the droids slow recation times compared to clones and jedi and also a few small fast ship would be verry good at drawing the enemies fire while the bigger ships such as the Venator and Victory (Mandator as well if yoour enemy was realy a chalange) came in and destroyed the enemy.
i suppose they would also be on patrol duty as well
Makes sense, but uh... Why do all republic ships have that arrowhead shape? Well, almost all anyway.
The Arrowhead shape, well canonicly its just the Sienar company's design and other various starship companies designs.... I think it suposed to maxamise forward firepower, be sleeker ect. ect...
But i suppose its just lucasfilm really just how the've designed em
Red nebula.
Red nebula at night, your towns alight xD.
