Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.
Description
This package contains the BASIC Republic at War v1.2.1 game files (NO AUTO-INSTALLER). This is recommended ONLY for ADVANCED USERS who want a minimalist experience or who are running Linux. We recommend Steam users instead download Republic at War via Steam Workshop. We recommend disc users instead download the complete game package which includes the Republic at War launcher.

There are phase 2 clones, they replace phase 1 when you reach tech 5. If that's what you mean.

hey so i downloaded the mod and it launched the game fine with the special loading screen and everything but when i finally get to the menu it does not change anything it just has the empire, rebals, and the zahhn corporration. So the starting screen is that of RaW? But the game is vanilla FoC? I have not heard of that before and a clean install may be necessary.

What is the difference between this mod and the clone wars mod? Do the clones look like the version from the clone wars series?
When I used to play this mod (amazing btw) I would experience poor performance from the game in the later areas of my campaigns, normally followed by my saves corrupting. My PC is more than able to play the game on other mods and vanilla. I remember hearing something about it being a glitch, just wanted to know if it was fixed now? Thanks.
The game is very old and poorly optimized for modern PCs which can result in bad performance late game because all the AI troops and movements strains the CPU. Play smaller GCs or set core affinity if you have this problem.
Depends on how long ago you last played, but Petroglyph released a patch on Steam that fixed large Galactic Conquest saves from late-game to break. Though that was spring 2018 or something.
I noticed the model for the providence carrier was changed a while ago, I was wondering if there were any plans to re-use thye old model (the one that admiral trench uses) and if not, is there way way I could change it for my own game? Thank you!
No, the current model fit better with the movies is the reasoning afaik.
Old model and Providence files are in the 1.15 version of the mod if you want to do personal edits.

soo i got an error warning from the launcher whenn checking it after click patching the ai the warning said
the directory of your republic at war installation does not match to your currently installed version of republic at war even thought it is the right direction however upon looking its just some dds but i dont see any problem just saying Raw misconfigured?
Make sure you have properly removed old versions of the mod if you have updated it previously, and that you have put the files where they are supposed to be.
Assuming you have, use the launcher's restore function, use the hard option if regular does not work. Hopefully it will fix it.

I bought EAW Gold Pack on Origin and I am having issues downloading and playing, when I tried to play it, it just crashed or opens FoC normally.
Sorry but I lack experience with FoC on Origin, maybe someone else knows better.

hello everyone I have two questions to ask you: when I start a new game, instead of Coruscant, I start in Mon Calamari with only two planets under the control of the Republic, and I have no map to choose from, for example "The Clone Wars" or "Fallen of Jedi", and then sometimes the game crashes: I wanted to know if it depends on the fact that I voluntarily modified the XLM files by enhancing vehicles, infantry and heroes of both the Republic and the CIS. If GC maps are missing reinstall the mod or use the launcher to restore it.

Could anyone answer? I installed this version of RAW for Windows 8.1 when I am on Honghr or Mandalore, which I am now conquering the planet by terrestrial assault, as soon as I have won the game it crashes, it stops working. In the XLM folder, I modified some files, to make the game a little "easier" it could be for what the game crashes, I have why I have to follow an order to conquer the planets ?? Answer please
hey so i downloaded the mod for my disc and i downloaded the suggested version however every time i play a gc nearly every time the enemy attacks me in space the game crashes. its happened to me on bespin corellia rhen var and tatooine and i cant play the game properley. can someone help?

So, I wrote several questions about RAW, and I haven't received an answer either. Let's see if it's the right time:
1) I installed RAW 1.2X files, downloaded, but I noticed that I can't edit XLM files, why ??
2) As I was unable to edit the XLM files on "RAW 1.2.X file", I deleted it and downloaded RAW v11.2.1 Miniman NO INSTALLER ". As soon as I downloaded it, I did the same Update procedure, but opening the game I noticed that has not updated, example I do not see written the options that are there when you select "Galactic Conquest", or "The Clone Wars", or "The Fall of the Jedi", and starting the campaign, I notice that the story begins on Mon Calamari , and I have no other planet under my control, and I stop the game when conquering Atzerri, I open the way to another planet next to Naboo which, however, does not have the name. If you were kind enough to at least answer me, also because I've been asking this question for a lifetime. Thanks
Can I have republic at war downloaded and playable at the same time as the clone wars mod?
Edit: I love both of the mods so I would like to not have to choose only one :(
