Description
We all remamber the great allieds ZSU AA gun from Red alert
now we have it in a newr version with Extra Ammo and slick design
In real life ZSU is name of series of Soviet (Russian) self-propelled anti-aircraft weapons. ZSU - Zenitnaya Samokhodnaya Ustanovka (anti-aircraft self-propelled mount)
In Ra1 this cannon called ZSU-23.
In real life ZSU-23 is soviet anti air vehicle known as ZSU-23 "Shilka" :)
ZSU is still a nice name for an AA gun :)
Wasn't ZSU also called "Zeus"? I remeber a AA unit called like that.
I don't remember any unit called "Zeus" =\...
Zeus is a nickname, because these things are feared by pilots, Zeus is a play on "Zsu" and the idea they strike like the lightening bolts of that ancient greek god.
