The Ranger Class of the Airborne Division is one of the later developments by the Allied nations. Derived and copying the grenadiers of the Soviets from the Second Great World War these soldiers wield high-explosive grenades that are effective against most ground targets. The soldiers can throw the grenades with some expertise being able to outrange basic defense structures. Carrying all these grenades however does pose a threat to themselves and any comrades nearby as they can potentially cause friendly casualties as related by retired Airborne Veterans. Much like the Gunner Class Airborne accompanying them the Ranger GI can erect up a sandbag fortification which allows them a small bit of coverage and allowing them to further increase their attacks by increasing the amount of grenades thrown all be it less accurately.
