Ground and air enemies? don't get me wrong I hate dedicated defences but you gota be shore it's not too OP you know?

Anyway, it's a pretty good concept piece, although I woudn't like to unwrap that...

Also, which bits rotate?

it will be balanced for sure cant be any stronger than mg or would be super OP.

i think the whole thing might rotate but wont need vertical swivel because the psychic pulse can just be fired upwards.

ill wait and see how the model turns out :)

Right, judging by the picture it has no true base, so I imagine it just floats? Also, the pulses appear to be 'summoned' in mid-air, is this correct? If so think it won't look to bad, especially if all other defenses do something similar...

The problem with floating is it looks weird, even more so if you have all other buildings anchored. It will look worse over water and torpedoes won't be able to hit it, although they still will.

Personally, what I would do is to give it a fitting base, possibly having the top bit floating SLIGHTLY above, that would solve most problems. and it would look quite good.

Finally bare in mind that defenses don't have to have symmetrical bases, often some more abstract ones look better, just don’t go over kill.
