It might bea little weird at first glance, But the eerieness of it fits what you guys intended I believe. Very nice work :) I must say though when I first seen the art I was slightyl skeptical but Its all good :)
the rust color seems misplaced though which is all I must complain about.
This idea is that the buildings are made from whatever they can find so we wanted it to have a rusty used metal look. It will make more sense when you see the animation of the buildings being pulled together using telekensis.

The test tube needs to glow like in the concept art.
That is a bit of a problem. I tried modelling the glow but it didn't look right. We may have to code it but at this point it can't be done.

What exactly are those green spikes?
I want to say that is where housecolor is going to go; thus, they are green.
Maybe it is because the screenshot is taken from low settings, but I feel that the texture is somewhat lacking. It just seems a bit too plain. Maybe if you add some detailing on the exit door (like the logo or some paneling). Also, find some way to connect the back arch to the exit of the structure so it embellishes the visual connection and links the the pieces together, much like the concept.
Yes, the green is just the house colour. The screenshot is taken at 1024x768. We will be adding logos etc once they are designed, but there is panelling on the side and back of the exit door, it's just that you can't see it from the angles shown.
